I hope so but I bet he uses this loss as an excuse to stay another year and show he can win a fifth title. If he stays I worry about Nouri's future with the club as he's clearly better than any MF on the current roster.

How so? They scored less than a minute after that call.
A disallowed goal is still a disallowed goal. We put two in the net but only one was counted correctly. There is no reason to not talk about the bad call.

At the end of the day, I agree that it was De Boer's ineptitude for the entire season which was the decider.

pathetic. Now we can go from losing in the cl against Bayern and psg to losing in the el to sparta prague and rosenborg trondheim. what pathetic management with no vision. I'm just sorry I spent 25 bucks on two beers watching these monkeys at Smithfield against psv some weeks ago.

Watching another inept performance by our midfield I am certain Nouri would make a difference .The kid has class skill and a football brain ,the likes of Serero and Gudelj stumbling around today as usual are not good enough and Klaassen has been poor.

The only highlight this season has been watching Nouri in Jong Ajax games pure class and a great future but not if FDB stays.

Had we scrapped a late winner today I would have said we had been poor and barely deserved the title. If FDB and Overmars stay nothing is going to change.

I can still say that 93rd minute error by Riedewald that allowed the Roda equaliser cost us the title but we have played poorly most games even when winning and had hugh luck v Utrecht.Today we got what we deserved nothing.

De Boer has provided timid football for two years.

Goodbye.

Today was a disgrace ... Be had a league to win and came out like arrogant/nonchalant twats. We should have taken the game to them and dominated 100%. We have he resources, especially against a team who's only interested in the play off games afterwards. Instead we play with "Magic £@&?ing Mike" as a DIY striker for God's sake...

No excuses ... Bye bye

Two leagues lost (given how terribly poor Dutch football is right now) not three won as far as I'm concerned.

Right, having seen 2 insipid games today, BOTH for the respective national championships, I have to conclude that the only winners are UEFA, It's about time that ONLY the champions of each country challenge for this "Champions League" as the effort shown by both Ajax, and Atletico Madrid, were absolutely abysmal!!!

Ajax..already in the CL Prelims showed lack of REAL effort!! Atletico, already in the final and guaranteed CL football next season...no REAL effort!! What the hell has European football come to??

Seems to me that the CL is showing the downfall of European football...too much money, too little skill, too little effort..too many "visitors" from another large continent who only come for the money.....so,think I'll stick to Eastenders and Corrie now....

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! :confused.gif: :confused.gif: :confused.gif:

We need to pray that Frank de Boer will announce that he will leave Ajax. But then again, in his next club he will attempt to poach players from Ajax!

As long as he takes Overmars with him as head of recruitment I don't really see that as a problem....

As long as he doesn't take any of the players coming up from the youth system that's fine with me. He can take the entire starting midfield from yesterday's game as a starter; they were absolutely rubbish.

Agree I would sell Gudelj,Klaassen and Serero and let Sinkgraven go.I am not saying they are all ready but v d Beek Nouri and de Jong would have done better yesterday.Well they could not have performed worse.

Defence is ok and attack needs another real winger and back up striker but our big problem every match is midfield. Nil creativity from them has cost us badly.

Just saw that Klaassen won the Golden Boot award, for whatever that is worth!
