Team lost concentration in the second half and conceded two goals. Cannot do this against quality opposition. In the end it was a victory with some nice offensive play.
Player Ratings:
Cillessen (7.5) - had a couple of tough balls to save and did so; had no chance on the two NAC goals
Boilesen (6.5) - one poor defensive play but otherwise quite decent
Moisander (7) - did well against some big strikers
Veltman (7.5) - positionally very good all match and added a goal off the centering header from Klaassen
van Rhijn (7) - got the opening goal and his defense was sometimes great and sometimes mediocre
Viergever (5.5) - not sure that he did enough to disrupt play from NAC when they got close to goal
Serero (6.5) - quite decent today
Klaassen (7) - worked hard all match and had two nice assists
Andersen (6.5) - showed some nice passing skills but still needs to be stronger on the ball
Sigthorrsson (6.5) - always put the PK on frame and force a save, very good first half only average in the 2nd
el Ghazi (6) - two or three times a pass was required and he didn't see it
Kishna (7) - very dangerous coming on as a sub and had a nice shot that hit the post
Milik (6) - on late and did OK
Off to Cyprus for a Tuesday night CL fixture and then home to PEC Zwolle who have had our number in recent matches.

typical from siggy, when we need him score he cant get the ball, when we dont really need him to, hes after everything and gets a hat-trick, when in truth it could and probably should have been about 5 goals for him

By the way el Ghazi got a bollocking after the game.
Firstly because he wanted to take the penalty, and then because he asked Siggy which corner he was going to put it in for the potential rebound, thereby putting Siggy off his concentration.
I know he's young but he seem to play a very individualist game (eg. always shooting when the pass to the free man is on) and begining to bug me...

That's funny. I saw them talking before the PK...I kind of thought Siggy should have let him take it, especially in hindsight. Always nice to get on the score sheet and keep everyone happy. I think most of El Ghazis' shots are good one's. Yeah he's young but ya don't score unless ya shoot.
He's a talent, Ajax needs to nurture that...Kishna too. Hope they both start today.

Sounds like he's a bit of a twat which doesn't surprise me from his stepover/diving/dirty fouling antics in earlier matches.
Nevertheless & as a registered Siggy apologist, in my opinion there's no excuse for a professional footballer to be psyched out on a penalty by his own teammate when leading 3–0!!!
