I'm a Hoesen fan in general but I also agree he wasn't up to much today.SPL schreef:Agree Hoesen did not do much .If Siem is fit next week I expect him to play Striker instead of Hoesen no way can Siem replace Klaassen. Serero really is starting to play well.
A bit odd sending Moisander and Poulsen on but it means V d Hoorn de Sa and Andersen can all play for Jong Ajax tomorrow ,all 3 can do with 90 mins of football.
With Blind performing well at DMF, Serero and Klaassen coming good and Duarte fit again our midfield suddenly looks to be in nice shape. Poulsen is back up for Blind, Schöne has had some good games in the MF as well (not really today, but I expect Bojan on the right wing in the coming weeks), and Andersen is on the bench. By my count de Boer can choose from six players (counting de Jong) for two MF positions, although with Boilesen out it seems one of them will be stuck at LB at least until the end of the year.
I also think it's more likely de Boer will use de Jong as CF rather than bench Klaassen... Funny situation for Siem, I still reckon he's underrated on this forum but it appears we have better options both in MF and at CF (depending on how you feel about Kolbeinn).
