Mancini's injured list numbers six – Joleon Lescott, who has a back injury, James Milner and David Silva (hamstring), Micah Richards (knee), Jack Rodwell (groin), and Maicon who is training but not ready following his foot injury. Kolo Touré is ineligible as he is not in the competition squad.

The team seems to be in a bit of a slump. We would need some goals and positive performances and results to get our young teams confidence back. And now we face man city away, damn. Even with the injuries, they are a tough bunch, but who knows. Maybe a hard fought point or even points will be just the thing to jump start our team. Every game starts at 0-0, so anything is possible.

Sulejmani not included in the squad. Moisander of course will be back in action.

Is it just me or does the referee seem to be in the way a lot tonight? He just ducked under Vermeer's long kick which was hardly hs fault but the ball does seem to keep going through him.

Might be just that shirt that makes him hard to miss though.

If we get our wingers working somehow we score some more goals in the 2-nd half. Man City's defense is not looking very solid.

Maybe we are playing in the wrong league this season. EPL teams look ripe for the picking. A little luck on the first goal but de Jong did a great job from a wicked angle. 2nd goal he was totally unmarked just like Moisander in the last match. Toure's goal was quite nice; he was just too strong for van Rhijn and had a nice finish. I don't think there was much that van Rhijn could have done. Again, decent pressing and passing in the midfield. Agree with Jojo that Babel's touch has not been all that good but he is tracking back and helping on defense as is Boerrigter.

Interesting 2nd half ahead!

With the firepower in City's side I can barely imagine us holding on to win, but either way, two away goals is HUGE if we end up on the same number of points.
