Incredible -- 2 goals down and they are busy running down their own clock playing pitty pat across the midfield line. PSV sitting back and saying 'please continue -- thank you very much.'

They are already waiting for thte 2nd half of the season . You know we are always stronger after Feb.

So far, I'm glad that we didn't overspend on Narsingh. Our 18 year old LB has been able to deal with whatever Narsingh has come up with.

I have this feeling that there was some kind of decision by the board that since we won 2 titles in a row, we can rest on our laurels this season -- we should save money by not putting out big money for anyone -- even if it means we have no chance of fighting for the title -- hence we have done basically nothing to strengthen our glaring weaknesses. I am afraid unless something drastic happens, they are going to get the results they are prepared to accept.

Guess what -- someone from Ajax (Oziliz, actually) finally put the ball in the direction of the PSV goal and we got a gift goal (own goal -- Marcelo) out of it. Think anyone on Ajax will figure that there's a lesson to be learned from this?

Don't understand what's wrong with PSV -- strangely enough, instead of pitty patting the ball around the midfield line they go directly for the Ajax goal and actually score goals. Don't they understand that pitty pat 'ball possesion' is more important than scoring goals?

poor game did not enjoy watching it very much . Did not get the stream working for about 15 mins and we were 2 down by then. From what I saw Blind showing he is not remotely good enough . We need to buy a CD .

The worst Ajax game in a long long time. It's clear Philips have strengthened their team during this summer, while ours was weakened. But we are the ones to play the CL...

It's about time we invest the money we got from the transfers. I'm afraid we might have long lasting difficulties to recover from Vertonghen's transfer.

Well Daley Blind is clearly not good enough. The last psv goal was a total disgrace, Blind got beaten and even didn't try to run and stop him.
I think that the new board policy is good in a long term for our financial future, but common we got got money from transfers and from last year champions league participation.
Please do invest in a proper replacement for Verthonghen. And we need to strengthen even more. The goal is to improve the team and not otherwise.

Over the past 12 years, no team has won the Cruijff cup and the Eredivisie in the same season. This is the obvious explanation for the Ajax performance yesterday; FdB is happy with this result! That being said, Denswill should start next Sunday unless an experienced central defender is brought into the club.
