Perfect week-end so far, but Ajax will still be 6th at the end of the day...

They've gone back to that meaningless pitty pat style -- loses all our momentum and lets the other team right back in the game -- only a good save by Vermeer kept them from getting one back.

Good enough 1st half and with the top two looking poor today we can pick up some points on them. Bulykin did well to finish his two chances before going off with what looked like a hamstring tweak. With the exception of the one poor clearance (saved well by Vermeer) the defense is looking sufficient enough. I still don't like all the standing around in the midfield as once we do get into the attacking third, the team seems to run out of ideas. Quicker ball movement will address that as NEC are getting way over stretched in trying to double and triple team the right wing (we don't seem to be doing much at all on the left side and really have not since Boerrigter went out). Let's keep our heads and make sure of all three points.

Well I happy a good first half and Bulykin taking his goals well .Ozbiliz is playing well so is V Rhijn on that right side .Anita should be in midfiled every game he is not afull back .

That had to be the WORST defended corner kick I've ever seen. We ended up with three men in on the keeper clear of all marking.

Missed the first half. But from what I've seen in the 2nd Anita and the fullbacks (both van Rhijn and Koppers) are providing the CBs and Vermeer with good options of bringing the ball out of defense.

BTW we were very lucky as that hand ball by van Rhijn wasn't called.
