Yeah, back to the game: they're pressing very hard high up the pitch and can't possibly keep it up for the whole game. Their defence doesn't look that good though.

poor defending by us for their goal but Boilsen looked bad hamstring ,hope he recovers soon. Not nice looking at the picture of Tyton do hope he will ok.

I hate that pitty pat around the outside -- takes away all our momentum. They are shaky on defense -- just keep ripping it into the center from out on the wings.

I agree this something that has been analized about this ajax, and was especially clear against Lyon, which how much we are relying on slow cautious build up to make scoring chances.

Finally half time whistle. PSV's strategy of high pressure early and often is wise given we have few options in bringing the ball up from the back. Defense was overrun on the goal. Sigthorsson's goal was well taken and he used his body to keep the PSV defender away from the ball. This being said, we had only about five minutes of good play in the entire half. FdB needs to work on some alternatives in the midfield since getting the ball forward without Vertonghen or Alderweireld doing the works is really a problem. Janssen is too slow and really not terribly good on the ball and if Anita now has to be a full time left back until Boilesen gets healthy we have few options.

Is Serero or Lodeiro on the selection? could be on option, maybe bringing in Serero For Janssen and have eriksen play more of a deep lying playmaker role.

Ball transition is just terrible for us. When having ball our team divides into 2 groups - 4 defenders and + a holding midfielder, and the rest. Toby and Jan try to get the long passes but this is not enough. Eriksen should play deeper.

However that long ball stuff can work if PSV continues to pressure us deep.Their defence is very shaky.

The one thing I remember about Lodeiro from the few times I saw him, was that he made these incredible defense splitting passes - something that would help us a lot. IMO it wouldn't be a bad idea to give him a shot.

I still think Janssen was the wrong signing for us. Our midfield has looked broken in every game so far, because when Janssen and De Jong play together the only energy comes from Eriksen and he tires himself out and becomes ineffectual. We use Jan and Toby as our 'deep lying playmakers' so why choose static midfielders? we need energy to press and run in behind if our centre backs are going to have the ball so much.

Bring on Lodeiro and Lukoki, there´s a lot of space to exploit on psv's left flank, Pieters is vey vulnerable and we can play around him.

been watching on 13 th stream and also DSC4 but sound has gome on both .Anyone else having sound problems? MM4 works for sound but not a widescreen picture.
