Ok, so I saw all of the first half which was quite boring. Then put my daughter to bed at half time, came back and we're suddenly 4-1 up - wtf!

Fun game. I think the thing I like the most about Ajax under Frank DeBoer is that they always want to attack, regardless of the game situation. And whatever he has done with Mickey is nothing short of amazing.

I liked the RKC defender who was playing Siem 2 metres onside for his deflected goal appealing for offside then realising he was goalside of the scorer. Haha. It looked like he was celebrating our goal...

An easy win with some good goals.Pizzman made a good save at the start of the second half, for a fat man he has never let us down on the odd games he has played.

A good workout for some of those who are usually sub . Still not sure what Oleguer is doing as sub surely one of our Jong players like Bonevacaia or Sneijder could have been a sub

Guys, I just saw a commercial on goal.com about an 'official' website for Dutch eredivisie games - http://www.livedutcheredivisie.tv . They're going to charge 80$ a season. Need to do a little more research on this - ie if they're going to show European games etc

This was an unexpectedly enjoyable game of football. Normally, Ajax are boring and uninspired in this type of fixture, but they really performed well. Good show, gentlemen. Also: hats off to RKC, who played bravely. They really tried to go for it.

Thanks for the link! I just ran the test and it works on my PC (did not think otherwise). It looks as if this is only league matches as they do not list the Europe League contest against CSK Moskou. If it's on the Eredivisie matches that works out to $2.35 US per match, not a bad price (but it would be better if ESPN3 carried the matches for free here in the US).

Ooh, this looks quite exciting. Not so much for me tbh as I can get games/highlights on ESPN or through Bet 365 on the internet but there is also a free highlights section on here as wellcwhich is good as I always seem to miss the ESPN programme (even though it's repeated about 4 times).

BREAKING: Mounir El Hamdaoui has been banned from the squad for AZ by Frank de Boer. He has been added to the Young Ajax roster.

De Boer took him off in yesterday's cup game against RKC. After the game there was a remarkable little TV interview with De Boer.

Reporter: "Frank, you took El Hamdaoui off remarkably early. Was he injured of were you dissatisfied with his performance?"
De Boer: "The latter. I give my players certain tactical instructions. It is their job to follow those instructions. If they don't do so I have a problem with that."

Edit: When journalists asked Frank de Boer why he has banned El Hamdaoui from the squad, he confirmed that "something happened" during the half-time break of Ajax vs RKC Waalwijk. He did not want to say why, but admitted there was an "incident" of some sort in the dressing-room.

We are running out of strikers. De Boer dropped Cvitanich from the squad as he was not impressed with his efforts in training. Of the Jong players Castillion has not yet completed 90 mins of a game since coming back from a long injury . Suk is being released .

I was not impressed with El H after being dropped before Christmas and the sooner we sell him the better. Siem had a good game in the second half when he was a striker (I know it was only RKC)
