Re: Miralem Sulejmani
He says he still wants to go . In that case send him to Vitesse as he clearly does not want to be here any more. I still think he would develop if he played on that leftside instead of Urby but I quess we are never going to find out .
Perhaps the best thing would be some Russian team can come in and pay us a few million this weekend.

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
i personally think he should stay, he has looked alright recently, and thats from a "want away" player, if he could get some regular playing time and be content then its a hell of a strike force we got..

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
This is a bit bizarre...
Ajax arrived in Moscow today, but Miralem Sulejmani was denied access into Russia, as he did not have a visa. Ajax were incorrectly informed: they'd been told that EU citizens need a visa for Russia, but that citizens of Serbia can travel into Russia without a visa. At the airport, this turned out to be wrong, so Sulejmani was left behind at the airport (not alone, I assume).
Ajax expect no problems; all will be solved soon enough, but the team trained at the Luzhniki Stadium without Sulejmani...

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
Sorry that he is out injured but his form overall has been poor and Boerrigter is nearly fit .
If he does not renew his contract ,runs to 2013, then we may sell him this summer and thus he may have played his last game for us. Given he is our highest earner and has basically
never justified his transfer fee I hope Ajax unloads him this summer although this injury may well prevent anyone coming in for him.
Trouble is with the injury we will be lucky to get 3m for him . El Ham ,Cvitanich Aissati and Sulejmani will all be going for next to nothing this summer what a hugh loss on transfers

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
Which is why the club should be very wary of bringing in any players from outside the system. We get screwed if we buy from other Dutch teams as they ask ridiculous prices for players and Ajax end up paying it. focus on reforming the academy and things will take care of themselves.SPL schreef: El Ham ,Cvitanich Aissati and Sulejmani will all be going for next to nothing this summer what a hugh loss on transfers

Talking of players to sell/expiring, in your opinion Lodeiro will stay?

Overmars: weinig belangstelling voor Sulejmani
27 augustus 2012
Overmars: little interest Sulejmani
August 27, 2012
Opposite International Football let Marc Overmars know that the probability Miralem Sulejmani before the end of the transfer period is sold is very small. Ajax would like to sell him, since his contract expires next summer and the Serb contract extension distract. "There is little interest Miralem. And he himself never came back to our earlier offer, "said Overmars.

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
I have to wonder if the player he was at Heerenveen somehow got lost between Friesland and Amsterdam . Hoping against hope that he'll play himself back to fitness if only to bump up his value even a little.

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
He has never been a real big player, when he was in top shape he always forgot to score. Like in the only Heerenveen - Ajax he has played at their side our (very weak) defense got their asses kicked completely, but Ajax still won the game. At that moment my thoughts were: "Spectacular dribbling player, but if you manage to still lose this game you will never become a big one."
The Ajax board gave Marco van Basten a wallet with 35 million euros in it. Marco said: "We will buy Miralem Sulejmani first and then the rest of the players. "
A huge mistake, absurd. Heerenveen was in a position they could aks any amount they wanted too...

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
One of the worst transfers in Ajax history given the amount of money involved.

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
perhaps the worst. even machlas in his days scored some goals but never got much time to play. fuc*, i cant believe we wasted 16 million on him

Re: Miralem Sulejmani
would be nice if West Ham took him but this is silly season with rumours .
Re: Miralem Sulejmani
Nobody is going to take him right now since he isn't in any kind of football shape. "If" we are really lucky someone will come and get him in January but even then I have doubts since I can't see him playing much in light of the other wingers play so far this season. Can anyone say he is better than Sana, Lukoki or a healthy Boerrigter at this point in time?

I think cutting our losses now makes more sense than hoping into the future and give Sana, Lukoki, Fischer, Boerrigter and co. more chances going forward.
