Eredivisie Fixture List 2007-2008

Ladies and gentlemen, according to Ajax Netwerk the fixture list will be officially published this Friday, 29 June. Ajax USA will publish a news report and publish the entire fixture list on the same afternoon, so stay tuned!
Mind you: everything that's been published so far (the schedule for matchday 1, etc.) is not official and as yet unconfirmed, so don't book your plane tix. Friday is the day.

Hope it isn't the UEFA draw though Philippe - I was thinking more of the CL games. If you scan through the provisional fixtures and also the CL match dates there are eight home fixtures that might have to be altered with the first hit possibly being the home game against Heerenveen. If we only make it to the UEFA Cup then the problem will go away as match days for these fixtures have been Thursday nights.

the CL is organized by the UEFA, I did not mean the UEFA cup, but the CL of course

Yesterday was the day, but alas: I have not seen any official announcement on KNVB.nl, Ajax.nl, Teletext or whatever. As far as I know the fixture list has not been officially released just yet. Stay tuned.

so there will be a league game on the 26/08/2007 (Ajax-SC Heerenveen) even though Ajax are playing the second leg of the CL elimination two days later ? strange

Cruyff Shield

Not an Eredivisie fixture, but I'm not going to open a special thread for it...
As you may or may not have noticed, the game for the Johan Cruijff Shield against PSV, originally scheduled for Sunday 12 August, has been made one day earlier and will now be played on Saturday evening, 11 August, kick-off time 20:00!
This is due to Ajax's midweek Champions League qualifier on either Tuesday 14 or Wednesday 15 August. Ajax now have an extra day to prepare for that one.
We have updated our matches index page accordingly.
