The list of Eredivisie fixtures will be officially released on Monday 04 July. However, the F-Side.nl website somehow managed to get hold of the 'concept list' and published it. Mind you: this is not the official list just yet, there may be a few changes.

Note that matches with an * may be re-scheduled to the Friday or Saturday evening if Ajax have to play a Champions League fixture that week.

We will not publish the fixture list on Ajax USA just yet. The KNVB will submit this draft to the clubs and there may be one or two last-minute changes. We will publish our fixture list on July 4th.

Looks like our fate for the season could be decided by the end of October - a really good set of opening fixtures to get excited about.

A few thoughts...

1) Feyenerd at home in late August... That's early...

2) I always prefer to go to Eindhoven first and then get them at home after the winter break. That will be the case.

3) Last season's away game at Groningen was, indeed, our very last visit to old Oosterpark Stadium. We play them in the second season half this season. They will move to the new ground in the winter break.

4) I always like it if we can finish the season with a few relatively easy games. If we're still going for the title it's always nice to play those last 'stress games' against modest opponents. That won't be the case this season: Roda, AZ and Vitesse, followed by RKC away on the last day. Fair chance that Roda, AZ and Vitesse will be competing for UEFA Cup football (oops, no! They will probably already be preparing for the play-offs... and it all won't matter to them anymore).

5) F*ck the play-offs!

Can't wait for the 4th of July and the VERY cheap train tickets that go along with it.

Den Haag and Feyenoord as first home games of the season - mmmmm. Both teams without away fans I assume. Seems to me that the KNVB are looking to get the high risk games at the Arena out of the way as soon as possible

Hey guys! It's Andy here, long time no see...

Nice fixture list, Ajax is always better at the beginning of the season - a hiatus always swings round from about November, when the injury list starts piling up until the winter break. SO the more tough fixtures early, the better as far as I'm concerned. Nice to see Sparta back btw...

Is Zitgaar (from Beijing) still around these boards? I'm going to Beijing in 10 days' time...
5) F*ck the play-offs
Amen to that!!!

PS what's with Ajax signing 'Berg' players? Maybe Mellberg's next? Or Dave van den Bergh?

Sun 12 /3 /2006: Ajax - PSV
So the 2006 Annual Rendezvous in Amsterdam looks like it maybe the same fixture as this year???

Along DanK's same line of thought, looks like I'm going to try for a a stay between 4 March and 13 March. Sparta home on 5 March and PSV on 12 March has all the makings of a killer vacation. If my employer cooperates and doesn't make the positions of myself and three others redundant. :eusa_pray:

Kick-off times added!

Ajax.nl have finally published the kick-off times for Ajax's Eredivisie fixtures. They were uncertain for a long time, due to the fact that commercial TV network Talpa will broadcast Eredivisie football in The Netherlands this season. They won the battle against NOS (public television) and Canal+ (pay-TV). For that reason is was uncertain if the traditional kick-off time for games shown live on Canal+ (12:30 on Sunday) was going to 'survive' (answer: yes it did, unfortunately).

Anyway, check all the kick-off times here:
