Very depressing being an Ajax fan at present and everything JC preached seems to have been chucked away but if you want cheering up go on the BBC football site as they have a long article about Cruyff, 1974 WC and Total football. Cheered me up,

Ajax will get back to normal and we will see the beautiful football return . We will always have Cruyff and everything he stood for( just need a proper Ajax football coach who remembers what we produce in De Toekomst)

7 years today he left us although for Ajax he will never leave us.

i am leaving sky so on my sky box I had 2 games 1971 and 1972 CL finals.Watched them again the other day and just took in the sheer magic of JC but total football in all its glory.That team from 71 to 73 is still the best ever football team of all time.They changed football for the better and I still cannot think of another club that has had a greater influence on football.
