I was thinking about it, but hadn't made my mind up just yet...
Lemme explain why.
We try to more or less 'centralize' discussions, especially the ones that are normally not too popular and busy. In general, interest for Ajax's partnerships (Ajax Cape Town, Ajax Orlando, FC Haarlem and who knows, in the near future, FC Omniworld) is not too big amongst Ajax supporters. Our threads about Ajax Orlando and
Ajax Club Partnerships in general (for all partnerships
except Ajax Orlando) are not very busy and tend to disappear from the front page.
A thread like this one will, in most cases, get one or two replies (or less) and then 'die'. For that reason it may be nice to post
everything about Ajax's 'partner clubs' to one thread (or in this case two, because we have a separate and slightly more popular thread for Ajax Orlando). That way, that thread will develop inti a longer source of information about Ajax’s ‘partner clubs’, which is more interesting than short questions scattered all over the forum.
In two months time this thread will be somewhere on page five and never be read again, whereas the
Ajax Club Partnerships thread will return to the top of the page every once in a while, which increases the chance that your question about a less popular Ajax-related subject will actually be read. In the past a few folks complained about that and referred to it as ‘Gestapo-like moderating’, but the intention is actually very good: a question about Haarlem or Ajax Orlando with one reply is very uninteresting to the average Ajax fan. A thread with
all the questions about Ajax’s ‘partner clubs’ in it, on the other hand, can be a good read and – eventually – a sort of database which will return to the top of the forum every once in a while.

I was not sure what to do with this thread as it would fit into both the Ajax Orlando thread
and the Ajax Club Partnerships thread. Don’t know where to link it to when I close it. So I won’t.
