Dat betekent dat de landskampioen in de groepsfase één sterke tegenstander en twee relatief zwakkere opponenten treft. Ook Ajax wordt ingedeeld in pot twee, maar de Amsterdammers moeten zich nog wel eerst zien te kwalificeren voor de groepsfase.

BK Rosenborg

Red Star Belgrade
Toulouse
FC Copenhagen
Dinamo Zagreb
Racing Genk

A few of these still have to make it through the 2nd qualifying round, but our opponent is very likely to be one of the above. We'll be one of the seeded teams in the qualifying stages. Which means: no Liverpool or Arsenal or anything like that.
