Rasmus Lindgren has just signed a contract at Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.

What a weird Ajax career he's had: he came, he went, he came back, he went again...

I always liked the guy and I wish him well.

He was the consummate player, never complaining and going out and getting the job done. His skills were limited to be sure but I'll never forget the final match several years ago when he had to play central defense because of injuries and suspensions. I think it was when van Basten was manager and we had already lost out to FC Twente for 2nd place but were playing them on the final match day. He played quite well and we won 1-0 at home. Good luck in Austria.

Tough to see him with a Dead Bull (my pro Philly Union bias showing thru, as RBNY is a rival) insignia, but I wish him well !!!
