Traore has signed for Donetsk of Ukraine , we get 10m although that might include add ons.

Looked over weight after the winter break thus he was only 3rd striker.A very good amount for a spare youngster with just 1 year of his contract left.With no 2 striker Brobbey going for nothing this 10m is welcome.

Ajax want 50m from sales and look like getting it from players on loan and 3rd choice players. Traore 10m, Scherpen probably 5m ,only no 3 goalie. The rest from loan players, Marin 10m,Lang 6m, with Danilo,Eiting Jensen and Magallan all possibly being sold.

Selling Danilo? With only Haller as our out and out striker? He should stay

I just said Danilo will possibly go.He has a contract to 2022 and Ajax will see how he goes in pre season.We need a back up striker and maybe Ajax will be convinced with him .If not we should still get 10m for him ,he scored a few goals for Twente last season .

Of the players I quoted in my last post above 6 were on loan and the other 2 no 3 choices. Only Scherpen would need replacing and we have spent 1m on Gorter.

Big problem of course we need 22 players min, 2 per position for our squad and with Brobbey and Idrissi gone, for no money,
we now have 20 players left .Pasveer signed to replace Onana but Mazraoui,Tagliafico, Ekkelenkamp,Labyad and Neres all likely to go thus we will need 6 new players(Taylor probably will come in for Ekkelenkamp).

Paper talk of Schuurs and Martinez going but I think these will remain as we need them for our squad and cannot end up needing to bring in up to 8 new players!

Carel Eiting is joining Genk of Belgium on a 4 year contract but no fee yet quoted.Would guess at 3m or 4m !! Hope he keeps fit and good luck to him.

It's a shame that Mazroui is leaving, he is brilliant, link up play with Antony/Neres and experienced

I've been on holiday. Is this official? Does he have a team?

Nothing official on Mazraoui other than he has not agreed a contract extension , currently to 2022.So Ajax will have to sell.

Young Ajax American MF Alex Mendez has been sold to Vizela of Portugal. He never looked very special for Young Ajax so good luck to him in Portugal.Vizela have just been promoted to the top Portugal league.

Rumour that Milan want Tadic and he wants to go but Overmars has today said he is staying and Tadic has not asked to move. So many rumours surprised we will have a squad left if they were all true.

Apart from Onana,and Lyon are now talking, there has be nothing on Tagliafico,Mazraoui Labyad or Neres. Until we sell any of these the only 2 players we need to bring in are Berghuis for Idrissi and a back up striker.

Tadic made it very clear yesterday he is not leaving.Ajax is his dream club, one of the most beautiful in the world. So goodbye Milan put in its place.

Meanwhile Mazraoui does not want to move and hope his agent sorts out his contract.

I hope Nous stays this year. That way we have Rensch as cover for RB and LB (if Nico leaves). I imagine Salah-Eddine is still not ready to be our full-time LB yet.

Schuurs has said he is not leaving this summer and still has plenty to learn at Ajax. Only Tagliafico,Neres, Labyad ,Onana and Ekkelekamp will go at most.

Mazraoui needs to be extended and Gravenberch ,contract to 2023, needs to be extended.

Onana has agreed terms with Lyon.They want to pay 5m but Overmars wants 10m ,so somewhere between 6m and 8m.

Fans still calling Onana names as he turned down an extension to 2024 but said he would agree to one for 2023.Surely had he stayed for another year,having signed to 2023, we could have got 15m to 20m next year!!

So we will lose one of the best goalies for about 6m meanwhile Brighton will pay a similar fee for Scherpen ,our 3rd choice.

Good riddance. Players with such a disgraceful attitude are not Ajax material

Scherpen has joining Brighton ,fee not mentioned but it will be more than the original 5m Brighton offered.Good luck to him over here but he will only be a backup goalie so might get loaned out.

Ajax are lucky to have sold Scherpen… every time he was in the goal something crazy happened. Don’t understand Brighton at all, but… couple of million Euro’s doesn’t hurt PL teams.

Rennes offered 18m for Alvarez but we said he is not for sale,today they have offered 21m.If we get it to 25m I would take it.He did well as a defender at MF but no creativity .Blind would be better in that position leaving Martinez at Cd.

Blind is way too slow for the DM position. Taylor is not experienced enough. I recognize that some on this board don't like Alvarez but I think he showed enough during the second half of the season to stay in the base.

Now report says Lyon will pay only 3m up front for Onana.Ajax may as well keep him.

Let him rot on the bench. After the way he treated us.

Not a big surprise; Overmars said today the club will work with Ekkelenkamp to find him a new club. Too many quality MFs on the team right now. He's a hard worker and has quality and should fit in well somewhere. Hertha Berlin was mentioned as having interest.

A very good round up by Overmars today, Antony and Alvarez not being sold, Neres and Tagliafico could still go and Martinez and Mazraoui hopefully to sign contact extensions.Danilo still getting a chance to be no 2 striker. And no news on Onana!

Ajax and Lyon nearly agreed with Onana, seems like we get 6m plus maybe 4m add ons .Just need to get rid of him and move on.

Hertha want Ekkelenkamp but dont want to pay over the top.

These seem the only 2 firm transfers stories.

A French paper states Nantes want Sonje Hansen but Chelsea want him and will pay 5m. If this is true he will just go out on loan to an obscure team. He went backwards last season and has not been included to Austria where Martha has overtaken him.It does seem he gets played as a winger whereas striker could be his best position.
