Gravenberch is guided by his father and brother Danzell ex Ajax now with Oss.They all think he should stay and develop at Ajax. I think he will sign a 3 year deal to 2023 and no more. He is not yet ready for a place in the 1st team other than sub games v the lesser teams and think he will break through next season.If he does break through he wont sign any further contracts. I guess I think he will stay to 2022 max.

Raiola evidently tried to get him to move away at 16 but lucky for us and Ryan he has a sensible father and brother and he too seems to want to stay.

I would point out that many of the kids who leave at 16 and go abroad are not with Raiola.Not aware Hoogenwerf and Bonnah who left this summer were with Raiola and nor was Hoever now at Liverpool. Only other youth with Raiola
is V Gelderen and he is not a top talent.Believe they are the only 2 contracted players with this dreadful agent.

Good to see last night so many players from our own youth making up the numbers.

A 3-2 defeat . They went 2-0 up and Traore scored just on Ht 2-1 .They made it 3-1 soon after the 2nd half started and we got a 2nd from Kuhn 10 mins from the end but it finished 3-2 to AZ.

Usually anyone aged 23 cannot play but Varela is older but assume he can play as its against a Jong side.

4-0 win for us Traore a hat trick and Ekkelenkamp the other.

Bande got his first action for Jong this season with a few minutes at the end in place of Traore.Pynadath the American lad came on for Lang after 61 and Mendez,also American for Q Timber on 79. Cerny played for them.

Poor game ended up in a 3-1 defeat . They went 2-0 up after an hour ,Gravenberch got one back but they got a 3rd in injury time.Ex Ajax Antonucci scored

Jong Ajax are still ahead of the other Jong teams in the table. That's probably the best way to gauge things. Still it is disappointing with the MF and attackers on the pitch against Volendam that they only scored one goal.

We are only 4 points off the top so not doing too bad.Jong is about bringing players through and at present only Gravenberch and Traore looking like they could progress.

I know Eiting was out for most of last season. I really wonder if he is quick enough to make it for Ajax. He had some starts early last year before getting hurt but even then didn't look quite good enough.

A comfortable 5-1 win tonight ,there was a stream in the end so watched from 40 mins onwards. Ekkelenkamp and Kuhn got 2 goals in the first half then Ekkelenkamp with the 3rd and Traore the 4th and he got his 2nd and the 5th at the end.

Kemper played the 2nd half in place of Pierie ,QTimber for Lang on 66 and Brobbey for Ekkelenkamp on76.

A good workman like performance ,no one really stood out although Traore took his goals very well and should now start to make minutes for the 1st especially if Neres is out.

We won 2-1 ,couldn't get a stream though.

Lang on 45 made it 1-1 then after 85 mins Brobbey got the winner.He only came on after 75 for Kuhn.Jensen ,who has been injured for a while, came on for Lang after 60 and Taylor for QTimber on 81.

It was shown on the Ajax channel on YouTube - as most of the U19 and some of the other U matches are. I cast them from my phone to the tv and watch them full size. If you subscribe to the channel they notify you when matches are coming up.

rjf do you mean Jong Ajax game was on ajax tv youtube? I didn't think any Jong games could be shown that way as they are subject to fox tv only.

If you are meaning u19 game then yes Ajaxtv shows either the U17 or U19 every Saturday live depending on who is at home.I watched u19 vTwente yesterday.

Right - I was referring to the U matches - I spaced out over the topic being Young Ajax - sorry for the confusion. I plead incipient senility.

no problems rjf ,thiink we might have covered this point earlier in the season. Tonight we are about to play Helmond Sports but Fox tv is not showing any of the game. cricfree shows streams ,not sure if they connect, but if Fox dont show a Jong game then Ajaxtv ought to be able to show the game.

Finished 1-1 although no Tv I got a good stream and watched from about 25 mins onwards .Helmond scored early and we got one back by Ekkelenkamp on 65 .After that nearly all one way traffic in the Helmond end but we could not break them down.
