I ended up watching the 2nd half but we lost 3-2 .Sporkslede got sent off but injured his ankle badly in the tackle that got him a red card .Their goalie was sent off for handling outside the box but replay showed he was inside. Clearly I watched the worst half of the game for Ajax.

Jong Ajax lost 3-1 in the end with Vermeij scoring the only goal. Talk on the Utrecht game thread about not sure where Andersen and Fischer's best positions are but in this game Tete a RB plays on the left side again and Meleg who has played on the flanks was in MF. Sporkslede and Bazoer both injured have played both CD and DM and Martina a RW plays RB.Confusing a bit.

@SPL - of course Anita played both left and right back as well as midfield so confusion is typical for Ajax.

Report today says Sporkslede is out for between 4 to 6 months so good luck to him in his recovery.

Becker is the right winger from our A1 youth pleased to see him debuting. All well and good playing Schone and Serero but Meleg ought to be playing 90 mins and El Hasnaoui who is rated as promising should also be starting .

poor defeat we lost 3-0 at home ,Gravenberch got sent off after 30 mins so I would imagine Bazoer would have dropped back into defence after that.

currently Ht v VVV IN venlo and we are losing 2-1.Its live on Tv and I have astream on livetv.ru in english.

Lobotka scored first with along range shot and then just before HT VVV gota penalty ,hands ,and then got a second from a cross.

With no spare first teamers and the A1 also going to Celtic to play in the U19 CL its a very make do side
