I don't believe Ajax have made any announcement about the fee. They don't have to if it is under a certain sum.

Het is een verdediger die graag wil opbouwen, die vooruit wil verdedigen. Hij wil graag de bal hebben en dat is belangrijk in ons spel, want wij hebben vaak de bal.'

De coach liet weten ook tevreden te zijn over de 45 minuten van Boerrigter. De buitenspeler is nog niet op zijn oude niveau. 'Daarom brengen we hem rustig. Hij wil zelf ook meer laten zien. Hij moet er even doorheen komen. Maar ik ben tevreden hoe hij zich ontwikkelt.'

Now that we're still playing in two competitions, you would think there would be some use for him. Not that Viergever has been bad, but still. It seems there is some leadership missing in the team. Don't think Moisander would make a big difference, but small things can turn around games sometimes. What I've read about him, I think it is highly unlikely that he wouldn't have motivation. On the contrary I think he would like to leave playing his best for Ajax. I understand that he just had a child ,so that can be a factor, but if I remember correctly, he hasn't played a minute since announcing he is leaving.

As Niklas seems to have lost his good form for quite some time now , we might as well have Viergever get used to first team football and settle in as soon as possible. This should provide us much needed stability and will hopefully help us out next season.

He will play tomorrow as Viegever is suspended.If he plays well then maybe we should play him v Dnipro on Thursday.

True, I might have some little favoritism for Finns , but I hope that Viergever isn't a long term solution. Who knows what Denswil would have become, but that boat has sailed now.

Officially signed a 3 year contract for Sampdoria. Good luck to him and he should now just sit on the bench for the rest of the season.

He served us well -- although Sampdoria wouldn't be where I would choose to move on to, I hope the move proves successful for him.
