So the draw is today and we can face one of the following teams in playoff round 1. The first leg game for us will be in Amsterdam. Note that PSV and Twente are also in that pot but we can't face them in this round.

I figured out that we would end up drawing ManU in the opening round. I guess if we want to win this thing we would need to beat them sooner or later! The only thing left to cap this whole Euro adventure is to draw another Portuguese officiating crew. Given ManU's rather dicey defense these days I do think we can score some goals if we get our strikers back and maybe we can draw a Red card on Rooney. Really pissed about the Lyon draw (though I do think there is likely no conspiracy here since it was a blind draw).

We played in 2002 and 2006 Amsterdam Tournament against ManU.

Yesss. Just purchased my ticket for Man Utd v Ajax at Old Trafford. Ajax have been allocated 3,700 tickets. 2,200 were sold to away card holders of various degrees (EU / domestic 'priority' / domestic 'regular'). Presale for 'ordinary' season ticket holders started today. We will sell out the away end, I think. Also, there will be many Ajax fans in home sections. Well over 4,000 Ajax fans to make the trip, I think.
