Just saw this as well. I don't think that this one was the result of one of the dangerous challenges on Sunday. We seem to have more injuries this season than in the last two combined. I think de Jong needs to move into the striker position and a more fluid midfielder added to the line up. What I really would like to see is the Barca approach that FdB was using in the pre-season with Ozbiliz at #9 with Anita, Eriksen and Sererro in the midfield. This would really give us a more fluid and faster attacking football team.

Anyone know what the KNVB rule on loaned players is? Is it possible to recall Castillion at any point in the season or is he at Walwijk for the whole season? I guess the same thing applies to Sneijder. I just don't know how it works here. I think in England a player can be recalled but only if they have been loaned for a specific period of time or to a team in a lower division.

My assumption is that you're translating it too literally; i.e. he was "messing around" more than actually wrestling.

Oh dear, this is bad news.

Let's not jump to conclusions about training intensity or mistakes people have made: the two injuries that have kept him sidelined don't have anything to do with each other. Two totally different injuries: ankle and shoulder.

According to Wiki he's been a professional footballer since 2006 and has played a combined total of 52 games for HK, AZ, and Ajax......
