Some people are making fun of this guy, cos he looks like a slightly overweight Russian gangster, but I actually like him a lot.

Bring him on and something will happen. He's actually quite skillful, good at holding up the ball, he's physical (he can cause unrest in the opposition's box) and not a dumb player at all.

Most importantly: do the maths and you'll find that he has a pretty amazing goal-scoring rate given the amount of playing time he gets.

Oh, and that cross to Ebecilio last weekend against RKC - that was f**king class. Very well played indeed.

I will admit I'm a bit of a fan. I was also a Pantelic fan. I love characters, especially if they're good players, too.

I really don't care of his look, but I have mixed feelings about him, as I had with Pantelic... Very slow, clumsy, maddening, but quite effective and with some moment of brilliance too. Weird.

If Bulykin accepts his role , continues to chip in with goals here and there, provides an effective target striker , and gives opponents cause for concern , he can play in clown make-up for all I care.
