Re: Derk Boerrigter
For Ajax's sake, and Derk Boerrigter's, here's hoping that his Jupiler League form is transferrable to the Eredivisie. Eighteen goals and some nice highlights make it appear the young man has improved his game since last we saw him in an Ajax kit.

Re: Derk Boerrigter
It was announced today that Boerrigter is almost ready for a return to action. Possibly against RKC, if not the week thereafter against ADO.
Nice one.

Re: Derk Boerrigter
With Sulejmani out for possibly weeks this is good news .Hope the do not rush him back though as he broke down before.

Re: Derk Boerrigter
Yes, yes, yes: Boerrigter returned to action for Young Ajax today. They won the away game at Young Heracles (1-4) and Boerrigter scored twice.
Looks like we can count on Sigthórsson and Boerrigter for the decisive weeks in the Eredivisie, which is great news, as they're the bollocks.

Who would've thought that he could be so crucial for Ajax!! Hope he could play more and travel to Euro 2012

Re: Derk Boerrigter
He's been struggling ever since his injury. Hopefully today's very good goal at VVV will 'set him free'.

Re: Derk Boerrigter
I can't be positive but it looks as though he plays with a back brace on (slight bulge around the midriff). Back problems are notoriously problematic once they occur.Kowalczyk schreef:He's been struggling ever since his injury. Hopefully today's very good goal at VVV will 'set him free'.

Appie Nouri will forever be remembered for his grace and humanity on and off the pitch!
Re: Derk Boerrigter
Tomorrow in the newspaper Boerrigter will have a story that he misses Theo Janssen very much. In fact... in his opinion the absence of Theo and a lack of smart passing players in the current Ajax squad is the main reason of his bad performance...

Re: Derk Boerrigter
What is apparent in our current midfield is we lack someone who can adequately distribute the ball to the wingers at the right time and angle:
Poulsen, Eriksen and Schone do not do that role.
We need the equivalent of a Quarterback for that.
Janssen would have have been a great for that role. Too bad the man cannot lie deep and shield the defence.
What's Boccara like?

Re: Derk Boerrigter
Alright. Celtic. 2 million euros.
Is that good news or bad news?
I say: good news.

The question is - who will replace him?Kowalczyk schreef:Alright. Celtic. 2 million euros.

Right now we have only Sana as a back up winger.
And i don't see us purchasing a new player, most probably promoting a youth player.

I guess Nicky de Bondt will have some minutes on the field
Re: Derk Boerrigter
Lucas Andersen played right wing coming on for Bojan in the JC Cup. Lukoki is of course still here
Re: Derk Boerrigter
Rumours say Ajax would still like to add Isaac Cuenca to the squad, but he still has an injury and Ajax is still doubting about the financial risks.Ayman schreef:I guess Nicky de Bondt will have some minutes on the fieldThe question is - who will replace him?

Re: Derk Boerrigter
Great transfer for Boerrigter: Celtic. Great club. He penned a four-season deal.
I think this dude had a very good first season at Ajax. Scored quite a lot of goals for a winger. After that, injuries destroyed things. Story reminds me of Nicolae Mitea.
Good luck, Mr Boerrigter. Particularly, I would like to thank you for last season's winner at PSV
