Okay, this one's official now.

On loan from Inter, one season, with an option to buy him at season's end. Reportedly, Ajax won't pay a penny: they're getting him for free and Inter will pay his wages.

He's been injured a lot and therefore will start with Young Ajax, but he's expected to be of value to the first team, too.

Hopefully he can get fit and have an impact! If he has a good season we should definitely exercise the option to buy, I think this lil guy has a lot of potential!

I must say I'm impressed that we picked him up at no cost. The only thing that concerns me is that he doesn't exactly play at a position of need, but for free, what the hell!

do we know a timetable on when he will be able to suit up for jong AJAX?

Is there any clue as to when he will be fit he has not played any games for the Ajax Jong.

(Ze Eduardo having made a brief appearance in the Jong team actually played for our A1 youths last week)

yeah, it's true. he came injured, the played 75 mins in a friendly with zaterdag amateurs side Rkav Volendam, and got injured again a few days later. muscles, I suppose, cause the guy has been out 2 years for problems to both knees and has no game rythm at all.

Let me tell you: it's never gonna happen with this dude.

The deal ("the new Ronaldinho for free!") was too good to be true; this had 'false hope' written all over it.

It's not gonna happen. We might as well forget about this kid right now.

He has had a knee op and is out for the season. I imagine his loan is cancelled . Bad luck but at least we did not pay his wages.

Was just going to post this and saw SPL did. He twisted his knee last week during training, torn ACL and is out 6-9 months. Ouch.

It's weird but I never had the feeling that we were gonna see this dude on the pitch of the ArenA.

He was like a flesh and blood fata morgana to me. We're never gonna see him in action.

What a fascinating transfer this was.

Does anybody know whether or not this dude is still in Amsterdam? Is he actually in training with Ajax?

I think he's still in Amsterdam; Last week when Maxwell visited, Ajax.nl stated that we was watching Ze Eduardo play together with fellow Brazilians Wamberto and Kerlon.

And D_skilled said he was recovering at De Toekomst.

Back in November did he not get injured and was out for the season !!! It said he had a knee op and was out for 6-9 months. As Inter were paying his wages nothing was lost by us taking him. Too bad it did not work out.

The guys on the dutch site did not include him in their list of 74 contracted pros last week. The club had said we have 74 contracted players on our books so I too, like you guys on the dutch site, assume he is not coming back.

Does anybody know what happened to this guy? Loan deal expired and not renewed, or something?

I take it he's not at Ajax anymore, right?

and guess what? he got injured again and went down the surgery 2 days after his return..so unlucky this guy.

Right then. That makes him a Former Player (actually, not even that, coming to think of it...).
