New thread for this season's KNVB Cup! Both Ajax-1 and Young Ajax are participating.

The draw for the first rounds has now taken place:

AGOVV Apeldoorn vs Ajax
AZ vs Young Ajax

Matches to be played on Tue 22, Wed 23 and Thu 24 September (exact dates and kick-off times t.b.a.).

The draw for the third round took place immediately at Apeldoorn's Berg & Bos stadium, immediately after AGOVV vs Ajax.

Ajax were paired with First Division outfit FC Dordrecht. Another away fixture, to be played on 27/28/29 October (date and kick-off time t.b.a.).

According to Ajax Netwerk, FC Dordrecht vs Ajax, in the third round of the cup, has been scheduled for Thursday 29 October 2009. The match will be shown live on Dutch network RTL7. A kick-off time wasn't announced by Ajax Netwerk.

Tough period to play that game by the way: Zagreb - AZ - Dordrecht - Feyenoord - Zagreb - Twente . I will wait mid-november to trust our defence then.

F*ck me. AZ are really struggling against Hoofdklasse amateurs Spakenburg in the cup. 2-2 after 90 minutes. Game is in extra time. 3-2 to AZ now...

Ajax's fixture in the round of sixteen of the KNVB Cup, against amateur side WHC from Wezep, has been scheduled for Wednesday 23 December, kick-off time 18:30 CET. In the next few days it will be announced where the match will be played. WHC would prefer to play at their own ground, Mulderssingel sports park in Wezep, but their board are considering to move the game to the stadium of FC Zwolle. The cup fixture will be shown live on RTL7 in The Netherlands.

Yep, it's gonna be Zwolle's Oosterenk Stadium.

Ajax vs NEC - that's a very good thing, especially because we'll be without Luis Suárez. He picked up his second yellow card in the KNVB Cup and will be suspended for one cup game.

On paper a good draw for Ajax . I hope the lads are up for it when the time comes. barring a complete tanking by FCT and PSV, it looks to be the best shot at hardware.

Go Ahead Eagles beat NAC Breda 2-1, Twente were 4 0 up with 5 mins to go and Feyenoord are beating PSV 2 - 0 in Eindhoven with 35 mins to go.

So feyenoord crashed psv 0-3 this is the first psv defeat of the season, and i read that before this game, psv was undefeated in last 43 games! Fucking impressive.

In the 39 last games. 43 is the record of Feyenoord, from the late 70's.
