Great relief(especially in Sittard) we won 1-0 and top the league 73 points, Sittard 72, NEC 70.

Pasquali for Mazraoui on 59 and Sierhuis for Nunnely for the last 2 mins the only subs used.

We play away to Volendam on Friday ,Sittard away to Utrecht and then on Sat 28th we are home to MVV Sittard home to PSV.

Something to cheer about in a dreadful season plus today Dutch U17 for Euros finals next month have 11 Ajax in the provisional squad.

It will be interesting to see if any of the players make it to the senior team as a regular.

Steve..what are the rules if Ajax jnrs win? Does the 2nd team gain promotion? I see that Yong PSV are in the play-off places as well...interesting!!!

Hi Ian ,no Young sides cannot be promoted,just the prestige of being champions.

so..if Sittard win, they're promoted...even a draw, as long as NEC don't win by 5 goals....and even Volendam, in 11th place, are in some sort of play-off!!! Long season!!!

Only got home from holiday about half an hour ago.Not watching the game but its 1-1 MVV got a penalty on 62.Sierhuis came on after 64 and scored after a minute.

Sierhuis has to play for the first team in the last game against Excelsior

I haven't watched enough to figure out if Bergsma is any good or not. I know he wants to work hard to make the first team.

Finished 5-2 for Jong Ajax. 2-1 at Ht both by Sierhuis. Nunnely the 3rd and Pereira 2, made it 5-1 and they came back to 5-2 late in injury time.

Sierhuis and Schuurs played only the 1st half ,Pereira and Pasquali subs.Jensen for de Wit on 64 the other sub.

A good win by Jong

I watched the 2nd half. Dordrecht were very poor. Pereira looked like a good prospect. One of his goals was off a direct free kick that cleared the wall and beat the keeper. Lang missed a PK in the middle of the 2nd half.
