Ajacieden in Oranje

Cillessen, Veltman, Bazoer, and Klaassen were all picked to play for the NT in the upcoming friendlies against France and England. I might be more excited were the Oranje to play in the Euros this summer but since they are not I don't want any of our players to risk an injury!

Well, I also want De Ajacieden to perform good so they pick up some confidence for the final weeks of the season or I want Oranje to make two reaaaaal bad results so the Dutch FA will eliminate Blind.

I'm also curious if Jasper Cillessen will play both matches or that perhaps PSV goalie Zoet will be chosen for the away game against England.

Obviously not a great night for the senior Oranje with our 4 all playing . The game completely overshadowed by JC .

U21 beat Norway in a friendly 1-0 with El Ghazi scoring the goal .Daley did not play.( Another friendly v Serbia to come)

U20 played 2 x Portugal ,both games 1-1 and both Dutch goals scored by El Azzouzi.

In the 1st game ,5 Ajax played (6 if El Azzouzi counted)Groothuizen,v Bruggen.Clement Zivkovic plus Mirani(he was a late call up although being released by us) In the 2nd game El Azzouzi started and only Clement and Zivkovic came on as subs .

U19 playing a qualifying group for 2016 euros

3-2 v Ukraine,Nouri ,v d Beek scored ,also Dekker and de Jong played.
2nd game today 1-0 v N Ireland and Eiting scored the goal.(Nouri , v d Beek and Dekker played )

A draw v Poland in the final game means they get to the finals.

U18 played just one friendly lost 2-0 to Russia. Zeefuik de Wit and Sierhuis played.

U17 playing qualifying group for 2016 Euros.

0-0 v Bulgaria and today 2-0 v Slovenia , de LIgt Bakboord and Kluivert played both games .1 goal today by Malen , ex Ajax now Arsenal.

There are 8 groups , winners plus best 7 runners up for finals .Dutch now 2nd and need to beat Germany to make sure of qualifying as Bulgaria could be runners up.

In training today Cillessen has broken his nose ,he collided with KJH. Then Klaassen withdrew with a slight knee injury.

Thats all we need. Friendly Ints at this stage of the season are a joke. If Bazoer and Veltman play lets pray they dont get injured.

Haha you are right. We don't have any strong lads like Klaas Jan Huntelaar so Cillessen will never break his nose at an Ajax training.

No without joking around... it's an unlucky injury but with a broken nose they can give him a mask and than Cillessen should just be able to play the home match against PEC Zwolle, right?

I hope Jasper is still able to play the England vs Holland friendly on Wembley this Wednesday and gets some confidence with a great performance at that holy stadium as lately he seems to let in the goals a bit easy.

A good win for Oranje last night ,bringing England down to earth .I caught some of the game but friendlies are meaningless games. All I know is Bazoer seemed to limp off! Cillessen Klaassen and Bazoer all injured just hope they will be fit for Sunday.My paper made Janssen the Az striker man of the match.

To round up youth games .

U19's drew 0-0 with Poland and qualify for the U19 Euro finals this summer(Nouri ,v dBeek and Dekker played)

U17 lost 1-0 to Germany but finish 2nd in the group.(de Ligt Bakboord and Kluivert all played) We evidently qualify for the euro finals as one of the best runners up

Starting on May 6th, and live on Eurosport are the U17 Euros and of 18 players 5 are Ajax Kluivert,de Ligt ,Nunnely,Bakboord plus new signing Struijk. For good measure old boy Malen ,now at Arsenal is also in the squad.

I forgot about the early starting time so I missed almost all the game. Dutch lost 0-2 and now have to face Serbia and Italy in the remaining group matches. This could be three and done.

I managed to see the last 30 minutes -- Holland played well enough, but in typical Orange fashion made next to no dangerous chances for all their nice play.

Danny Blind has named the preliminary squad for the upcoming friendlies. Bazoer, Cillessen, Tete & Veltman are the Ajax players on the list. Fosu-Mensah of ManU is picked (Overmars the Fool didn't sign him as a 16 year old which might be the worst thing he has done) along with former Ajax players Daley Blind, Anita (who is playing quite well at Newcastle) and Vermeer. Klaassen is left off which is a correct decision as he has been in very poor form lately.

I watched the whole u17 game.Holland had 4 of their best players suspended so with squads of only 18 they had just 14 to pick from. (seems a daft system carrying over suspensions from qualifying rounds where squads are a max18)

The commentator said the only Dutch player who had a good game was the winger Che Nunnely(one of our lads) Pleased to say I agreed as he was the only impressive player. A small quick right winger he put over a few crosses and was the only source of attack worth mentioning.Kluivert was fairly poor,one half chance. Malen ,ex Ajax now Arsenal played as a No 10 missed a sitter and did not look much .

The talented full back Bakboord was one of those suspended, we had de Ligt and new boy Struijk as CD. Both ok ,nothing special although one could see de Ligt is going to be a good player.

Next game is Italy on Monday a must win game.

Dutch u17 just started v Italy, its on Eurosport.Bakboord,Nunnely and de Ligt playing. I cannot face watching 90 mins of live footy at the moment ,still utterly depressed after yesterday( They have an hour's highlights tonight so will watch that.)

Well I did watch all the 2nd half ,0-0 at HT, but Oranje won 1-0 with the late winner from our own Nunnely who was again the best player.A very fast winger who put a few crosses in.

Kluivert ,who had just come on, crossed the ball from the left ,the central striker pulled the ball back to Nunnely who headed in. Lovely play by Kluivert and Nunnely.

de Ligt again a good game at CD and looks a great talent ,Bakboord a decent looking RB our other player.

Next game v Serbia and a win will take us through to the quarters .
