Dankerlui and Sanniez are not good enough and no better than Mazraoui,still uncontracted. Zeefuik and Eiting ,both 18 and de Ligt 17 are all better than Mazraoui Dankerlui and Sanniez,

The ups and downs are so interesting with the kids. Just a few months ago everyone was saying that Sanniez is so much better than Zeefuik.

I just realized that Sanniez is 20 years old and Zeefuik is only 18. I had always thought Zeefuik was older than Lartey.

Sanniez looked good last year but he is a right back initially but plays left CD and even LB,neither his position.Best defender I have seen in Jong this season is de LIgt.Zeefuik looks a good prospect at 18 at RB

I've also seen some who believe Sanniez is best as a DM.

Sanniez as I said was a RB can play at CD ,LB and DM .He doesn't play any position regularly.Last season Owusu was the regular RB thus Sanniez played other positions .Dankerlui is also a right back but has to play LB as Savastano ,the only natural LB in the squad is not ready for 90 mins after a long injury spell. I read from the Dutch guys on showtime,that some reckon 16 year old Bakker in the A1 is already a better LB than Dankerlui!

Having missed the first 30 mins or so yesterday I saw the opening goals today on the highlights. Cerny's 2 goals were both with his weaker right foot.Their first goal was a cross but Westermann in the centre was beaten in the air.

De Graafschap's coach said we were one of the strongest teams he has faced in Jupiler league football.Some statement when you consider de Jong Zeefuik and de Ligt were all missing.

Wow, Jong Ajax in display of poor defending just like the senior side. Dankerlui fell asleep and his marker goes right in on goal and gets and easy pass and even easier goal.

Not a great half by us .Of course this is their 2nd game in 4 days and apart from the goalie no one over 20 ie.all very young and maybe not ready for 2 game in week v senior teams.

I'll let SPL give the recap but will only note that Nouri needs to get serious playing time with the senior team. He makes things happen out of nothing unlike any of the current midfielders who start for Bosz.

Eating diner and watching for some of the 2nd half so did not take it all in . Finished 1-1 with Nouri putting Cerny through and a nice goal on 87 to get the draw. As Orange says Nouri must be put in the senior team ,he is just pure class and makes things happen out of nothing.

The side lacks a striker and hopefully after the winter break Sierhuis will come in . de Ligt gave away a penalty in the 2nd half but they missed it. He is still the best defender in the squad but the rest look very ordinary.Would say he maybe needs a game or 2 to get back into the rhythm of this league. He has been wasted in our A1 team this last week and last played Jong about 3 weeks ago.

Playing against 2 senior sides in 4 days will be hard on a team so young with 7 teenagers starting and all 3 subs are also teenagers. El Idrissi for Dekkers at HT, Mazraoui for Zeefuik on 65 and Bergsma for Sanniez on 70.

Volendam had chances to win but a good goal by us .

PS v Velzen their no 11 left us aged 16 for Man u. Came home to Jong Utrecht and now Volendam ,aged still 22. Could see Baars at Volendam in 5 or 6 years!!










Cerny v dBeek and Nouri are all too good for this league but we will have to wait and see

Dreadful half by Jong Ajax 3-0 down . 2 long shots for goals,the 1st goal the goalie could do nothing the 3rd goal another long shot straight at the goalie who feebly pushed the ball into the net .2nd goal we seemed to lose the ball poor defending.

No chances by us, football is lacking but so is the little master Nouri. VVV will be 2nd if they win tonight and Friday we play 3rd place NAC so these are the best teams in the league

Leeuwenburgh has come back from a recent injury. I expect him to come good and even go up in the pecking order behind Andre Onana.

Lost 4-0 , they scored a late goal towards the end when Westermann was too slow for the tackle. He is ok for this level but de LIgt still looked better tonight. Who decided to give this slow ponderous ageing German a 2 year contract!!!

Nobody shone tonight and they miss the creative talents of Nouri .As Ayman said Leeuwenbugh has come back from a long injury and had little to do and could not be faulted with 3 of the goals but did make a howler for their 3rd just before HT which killed the game.

Clement went off injured on 20 mins ,which did not help the cause.Mazraoui replaced him. Savastano a proper LB played the whole 2nd half for Dankerlui but needs more playing time.Bay for Dekker on 79 the other sub.

Very disappointing but VVV are now 2nd behind Jong PSV and in the sole promotion spot. NAC on Friday and its in the Arena I believe ,another very tough team.

El Ghazi has been dropped to Jong Ajax for the whole of November so will be interesting to see how motivated he is.

Pleased to read de Ligt is not with our A1 in the CL U19's this week as its been decided he should be playing at Jong level.Common sense the kid is already better than Westermann

Krul is due to play and El Ghazi also Westermann and Cassierra. More important will Nouri be fit?

So todays rumours that Krul Cassierra and Westermann were to play are wrong .

I suspect v d Beek will play less than 45 mins as he will be in Sunday's squad.Cerny will only play 45 mins for the same reason (think if you play over 45 mins you cannot be in the 1st team squad). Zeefuik and Eiting both played 90 mins on Weds for our U19's in the CL but Eiting starts .(Asking a lot of Eiting but v d Beek will probably take over at HT)

What entertaining football these young kids play! Lots of combination passes and very seldom do they back pass, instead keeping the ball in the attacking half of the field. Looks like Cerny may have tweaked a hamstring. I hope it's nothing serious. Good to see el Ghazi giving it his all. I still think he's a good player and maybe the month with Jong Ajax will get his game straightened out.

Ajax no longer as good now that Nouri has come off. He really carried this team in first half. Expect him to play vs AZ on Sunday.

2-1 is the final score with el Ghazi and de Ligt scoring. I always wonder if Bosz learns anything at all from watching this team play. They press all over the field, create triangles and never let a teammate get closed in. They are not afraid of making tough passes if that pass will create danger. How much longer do we have to endure Klaassen in the starting 11?

Watched the whole game ,nothing much to add. We only let them have 2 shots and the only one on target was the goal ,about the only time our defence was caught napping.El Ghazi scored a goal and played well .deLigt was superb in defence got a good headed goal but cut by his eye in doing so.Tough lad he was soon on waving his arms and bossing the defence .This kid is not far off the first team and is already in a different class to Westermann.

Nouri, who controlled us in the 1st half ,hopefully will be at AZ but has been sick this week. They played beautiful football and even in injury time were going forward trying to score ,no time wasting trying to hold on.

NAC are near the top so this was indeed a good win. For the record v d Beek replaced the injured Cerny on 40 , Nouri gave way to Zeefuik at Ht and El Ghazi ,holding his back went off at 80 for Dekker. Nice to see at the end El Ghazi's mum came down and he gave her a kiss .

So pleased I get to see most of these games as they play far more entertaining than the first team.

2-1 down at Ht El Ghazi scored with a fine header. Their 2 goals down to Krul.The 1st he should have got it ,the 2nd a shot to the bottom corner and he was too slow to get down. This guy is not needed and should go back to Newcastle.Onana and Boer are good enough

Finished 2-2 El Ghazi with a lovely shot for his 2nd goal.He had a good chance near the end but shot over with his left foot. Krul's lack of matches for over 12 months probably accounted for him being at fault with the goals. He needs a few games at this level to get match fit so Onana should stay in goal until the winter break.Still think it stupid signing a goalie who is injured.

EL Ghazi tried hard ,scored 2 goals and has 2 more Jong games before his ban from the 1st team ends. Subs were Bay for Mazraoui on 69 and Sidoel ,A1 youth ,on 86 for Bergsma. Sidoel a CD has a contract, is 18 but broke a leg a few months ago and is only just returning to full match fitness.

With 4 of the 5 star players not playing this was a weaken side with several with little or no experience at this level even.
