Good to see Leeuwenburgh back. He's supposed to be a real talent at keeper.

I like Peter, hope for him he will still have a nice Eredivisie career, but I'm afraid at his age he already had too many injuries and in the family some other big disappointments (a couple years ago his father died) and he will not be the one for Ajax. That's only my expectation.

Stan van Bladeren and Indy Groothuizen are also very talented, the last one is now on loan in Denmark at FC Nordsjælland.

Joe van der Sar is not really ready to proove the value of his last name. But very nice for Peter Leeuwenburgh that he has now again played at this level!

de Lange is highly rated ,aged 18 and has been on the Jong bench a couple of times already ,mainly due to injuries.About a dozen A1 squad are contracted plus a couple of B1 players so the best goalie in the youth should be contracted.

They renamed their club name from TOP Oss to FC Oss. It's indeed a shame because Stormvogels Telstar (that name comes from a fusion by the way, there used to be another club called Stormvogels) and TOP Oss were very fine names.

It created nice word jokes, because a couple years ago the F Word drawed TOP Oss in the KNVB Beker as well. 'It's a long time ago 'Feyenoord' and 'top' were seen in the same headline' was going around when they advertised that game.

Hi Amol I would have posted had I known you were watching.You chose a great game . We finally won 7-0 but it should have been more. Beautiful quick passing, interchanging and getting the ball quickly up the field .Ajax football at its best.

Cassierra a goal ,and a bad miss ,gave way at HT for Dekker . Oss must be lucky he only played 45 mins as he scored 3 in 27 mins . Donny v d Beek 2 ,(1 in each half) with de Jong 1 goal

Markus Bay a Danish midfielder replaced Cerny on the hour and Ezra Walian a young striker making his debut on 74 for Clement

The midfield dominated and we saw some fine finishing.

de Ligt, Zeefuik and Eiting all regulars missing because they will play U19 CL this week. Bergsma and the non contracted Mazraoui had little to do.

Working from home today - so was able to get some work done and also see some beautiful football!

I was surprised that we didn't even play De Ligt and Eiting. It never seemed that we were missing them.

Whatever Ajax does - it cannot screw up some players of the first team and a lot of this Jong Ajax team. It would be a travesty if that happens.

Just watched the goals again. Most enjoyable 90 mins I have seen this season .Beautiful football and a superb midfield trio. These 3 are far too good for Jupiler league and would walk into most Eredivisie sides.

Although he did not play last night de Ligt is already in that bracket. He is demoted to U19 CL this week but could easily be playing v Liege.

We missed at least 7 extremely big chances. It could have been 14-0!

Great boost we're getting as Ajax fans, lately. Great 5-0 win over Willem II followed by 5-1 against PEC Zwolle. Ziyech and Sanchez now making us extremely dangerous with corner kicks and Dolberg, one of my favourite Ajacieden, shows that he is a real striker and scores great goals!!

Next thing is a 4-0 against Standard Liège?

only change from starting line up last Monday is Dekker for Cassierra. ( Eiting de Ligt,Zeefuik missing as they played for our U19 onWeds.)

1-0 down at Ht.Sanniez bought down a player and they scored the penalty on 18 mins.We had a couple of clear chances before that. Not as fluent as Monday but this is their 2nd game in 4 days and they are very young.7 teenagers,Alblas at 21 the oldest and 3 x 20 of whom Dankerlui and Sanniez were still teenagers until last month

Well they tied the game up in the late going only to concede off of a corner kick in added time. Tough way to lose a match. The team pressed well all game though they were exposed on some counter attacks which some last ditch defending and Ablas saves prevented a goal. Trouble was the attack just couldn't put any shots on frame other than the one that went in (Clement I think; I was watching on a browser view window with a small screen). I'm sure FC Eindhoven fielded a team with older players.

Ended up with a 2-1 defeat . We struggled tonight and put a lot of shots wide and those on target straight to the goalie. We got a goal on 86 by Pelle Clement but with Sanniez losing the ball for a corner they put the corner across to an unmarked opponent to put away a simple goal to win it . This team missed de Ligt tonight the kid is a superb defender and he would have organised the defence properly for the corner.

Bay for Mazraoui on 76 and Walian for Dekker on 83 the subs.

Should have added to my post their winner was on 91 mins ie. 2mins from the end.As Orange says tough way to lose a game. Still think de Ligt would have organised that defence at that corner. He bosses the defence when he plays.

Other point from Orange Eindhoven were an older team. We are very young and the 3 regular defenders missing Zeefuik and Eiting are 18 and de Ligt 17 all being the youngest 3 in the whole squad.

Playing at home to de Graafschap tomorrow.Will the kids show how to beat them!

Due to U19 CL this week Zeefuik de LIgt and Eiting wont play but maybe Tete Riedewald and Westermann may get a run out .(These 3 kids all played for our A1 yesterday and I was amused to read that de LIgt had to play for 2 mins without a shoe but still made a tackle and had one or 2 kicks.)

If we win we go up about 5 places to 2nd . Its a quarter of the way through the season and the Jupiler player of the 1st quarter is our own Nouri.

2-1 up at HT Cerny 2 goals on 18 and 31.The stream was not working, left it a while but on 35 mins tried again and its up,perfect picture as usual. Not seen the goals yet.

We won 4-2 and could have scored many more. El Idrissi , sub for Cassierra after HT, scored the 3rd and Nouri the 4th . He went off slightly injured on 76 and they got a 2nd thanks to Sanniez mistake,fell over and gave the ball away in the box. Near the end they had a good chance but Boer saved very well. Subs Bay for Nouri and Savastano for Cerny on 88.

Cerny Nouri v d Beek and Clement all played well.Westermann a good solid defender but dont see him in our first team imo. Dankerlui and Sanniez are not good enough and no better than Mazraoui,still uncontracted. Zeefuik and Eiting ,both 18 and de Ligt 17 are all better than Mazraoui Dankerlui and Sanniez,but playing for U19 CL this week. de Jong missed the game as he was ill.

We are now 3rd on 19 ,PSV on 21 and MVV on 20 ahead of us.

It is so lovely to see such fast moving and passing football with plenty of goals. Nouri is such a great delight to watch my current favourite footballer at Ajax .
