Riedewald ,who has played too many 1st team matches, was not given permission to play as Volendam can make the play offs .Dispensation for first teamers to play 1 Jupilier game after a long injury is only in a games with nothing at stake.Shame as he could have done with 90 mins v Volendam who are a decent side.

Finished 1-1 in Volendam our goal by Nouri ,who evidently played very well.This kid has to be in the first team next season,such talent.(subs used not yet known)

Just one game to come ,home to Den Bosch next Friday ,should be a stream for that.

Last game tonight home v Den Bosch 20.00 CEt . No streams listed so not on tv live but our home games always end up having a stream on cricfree.Hopefully Cerny and Nouri will play tonight and not end up with the A1 tomorrow.

Because the A1 need to win the title it means players like de Ligt, Eiting, Dekker,Dolberg wont see Jong Ajax action tonight.

1-1 at Ht .Nice goal by Zivkovic put through by a Nouri pass .They equalised thanks to dreadful defending.(Sanniez on the bench again.)

Finished 3-1 to Jong Ajax ,nice end for Ullerink and Stam . Hendriks scored the 2nd after good work by Nouri and then v d Beek the 3rd ,El Mahdioui involved with the build up and Nouri of course.

v d Beek did well and showed his class but Nouri stands out pure class. El Mahdioui who came on for the woeful Acolatse after 67 played well and I am surprised he is going but he has been under used by the coaches as is Sanniez.He came on at HT for v Bruggen and was the best defender on the night. (other subs unused Groothuizen,Vissie,Bakker,Gudelj)

Hope next season to see some better players. Muric Cerny have looked good,Sanniez still the best defender, v d Beek de Jong and Nouri too good for this league. Owusu good at going forward reasonable full back ,Onana promising goalie ,the others good bye.

Hendriks ok for de Graafschap ,Zivkovic no idea, did nothing at Willem so loan him out again.

We finished 9th with 50 points, Almere City who were 8th had the same points and only finished above us by smashing PSV 7-0 last night. 6th place Volendam only had 52 points so we were very near the top 6.

Playoffs now start and I will start a seperate thread next week as there are loads of playoffs .

I hope RKC Waalwijk and Fortuna Sittard stay up in the Jupiler league, I really miss those teams playing in the Eredivisie, hopefully in the following season after next.

George Ogararu coach of our A2 team since last January is the new assistant Jong coach to Marcel Keizer.Training starts today and 26 players include Menig Andersen Becker all expected to leave . 4 players still youths include de Ligt,Eiting Zeefuik and new signing Doekhi.

Onana,Leeuwenburgh(goalie injured),Nouri de Jong Cerny Dolberg Muric not there.

Will be interesting what the final squad will be come August. 5 players today are RB's Owusu,Sanniez Dankerlui Zeefuik plus Mazaroui who has not yet got a contract.

Nouri deJong v d Beek and Dolberg are all headed for the U19 Euros next month and training camps start shortly thus they are excluded at present from Jong.

Started their pre season with an 8-0 win over an amateur team from Soest.It was a 60 min game at deToekomst.We only had 1 sub ,a goalie, so borrowed 2 players from the other team to play as subs.However 4 or 5 Jong are with the first and the youth squads have not yet started .

In addition there is the u19 Euros this week and Zeefuik,Eiting Dekker and Nouri are going there.

Nope got a full refund from Easyjet because my flight got cancelled because of their pilots striking.

They also gave compensation for another flight that I've missed because I did not have a direct flight to Thessaloniki.

I was lucky that I could still cancel my Booking.com accommodation within 24 hours. I spoke to others who weren't.

Ht 1-1 although it should have been 2-0 .Zivkovic missed an easy goal , had time to kick it either side of the goalie.Then Onana took a back pass had time to clear but didn't control the ball and lost it to an Emmen player who put it to a team mate for an open goal. Muric then scored with his left foot from out on the right hand side.Nice goal.

Sanchez looks ok but is settling in ,de Ligt impresses as usual , 17 this week but he would not be out of place replacing Veltman v Roda.Midfielders pressing further up field and passing quicker than the 3 robots yesterday.

Finished 1-1 so Onana's lapse of concentration and Zivkovic's inability to score an easy goal cost us 2 points.

The 3 forwards are still works in progress. Meant to add Cerny hit the crossbar early in the first half ,he was subbed after 71 mins by El Idrissi another debuting for Jong. v d Beek was very good and so was de Jong and Nouri ,both these will play for the firsts this season .I enjoy watching this midfield ,fast moving and passing getting the ball up field quickly .

Sanchez looked very calm on the ball and did everything asked,looks good . Finally de Ligt, superb outstanding my MOM .The kid was playing regularly for our A1 from age of 15 years 5 months and I dont see him playing at this level for long .

Our Paolo Maldini who broke into the Milan line up at the age of 17 and pretty much stayed there for almost 20 years!!
