New Players for Ajax

We wont sign Wilhelmsson he wants to go to spain or england, and we dont need him, we have Rosales and this kid coming through the youth ranks called Arie-Jan Van der Heijden. As for the left flank we have Derk Boerrigter, of whom it is only a matter of time before he makes his debut and sets the field alight :cheer: We also have another youngster waiting in the wings for that position in John Goosens. Finally as for Klaas Huntelaar....I say.....LETS GO GET HIM!!! Sell Charisteas at the same time.

Athough I am a big Charisteas fan, I have to admit that he is one who makes a dirty work, but not a great scorer. A player that can MAKE score his teammates opening spaces for them.
If I could be in Ajax board, for CREATING a great atipic forward like we did with Zlatan Ibrahimovic I would go further on a name that in the past came out: Nikola Zigic of Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) Beograd.
Here he is:

Re: Huntelaar...?
Who cares what he looks like so long as he's got "Klaas"?Kowalczyk schreef:He's a very good goalscorer and a great footballer, which I guess makes up for the fact that he's ugly and has a babyface.K.

Re: Huntelaar...?
Dont appologise. I use this line all the time. "klaas is my middle name". lame, but gets a few cheap laughs. I am named after my father and hence the 'K' in Dan K.Chugger schreef:Who cares what he looks like so long as he's got "Klaas"?Kowalczyk schreef:He's a very good goalscorer and a great footballer, which I guess makes up for the fact that he's ugly and has a babyface.K.

Hmmmm.......
Sorry don't know the news source:
"Jaap Stam will quit Milan in order to return to his native Holland, according to his agent.
The Rossoneri defender is presently under contract until 2007, although reports in Italy suggest that he may request a transfer during the summer.
Now his agent Henk van Ginkel has confirmed Stam's intention to quit Milan, saying: "Jaap is under contract with the Rossoneri until 2007 but he wants to return to his native land in order to dedicate himself to his family.
"Two teams have already said they are interested in him. We will speak to Milan and see what happens."
It is thought that PSV and Heerenveen would both be keen to land the big Dutchman should he choose to quit the Giuseppe Meazza."

Gijs Luirink
According to Dutch and international media Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord are all after 22 year-old Groningen defender Gijs Luirink. He is a product of the Ajax youth system and it is reported that the player himself has a slight preference for Ajax. We'll see what happens.

According to Dutch football journos Johan Derksen and Hugo Borst, regulars in football talkshow Football Insite, it is sure that defender Ron Vlaar (AZ) and striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Heerenveen) will join Ajax, possibly in the winter break. It is said that Ajax have already struck a deal with these two.
