Young Ajax in the Jupiler League

Going back to last Monday Dordrecht have made a complaint that Serero should not have been eligible having played for Ajax v AZ the day before . They want the game replayed! They have already queried why Fischer played but he was ok.

Surely they should have objected when the team sheets were exchanged .

Playing at home to VVV tonight 20.00 CET ko and cricfreetv.already shows they will have a stream.

I will miss this as I am going out to Brighton to a concert tonight.An Italian pianist called Ludovico Einaudi, (no one has ever heard of him but his music is very popular always background to many TV programmes)

Turning to last night it ended 2-2 with Zivkovic scoring both.V Bruggen was evidently unjustly sent off and it resulted in a pen.which cost us the 3 points.

Just saw the report that the Red Card was rescinded as it was not judged to be a foul. Nothing can be done about the result unfortunately which is too bad as the team deserved the victory.

Very unfair he clearly was wrongly sent off but we cannot have the penalty overturned or the last 40 mins played again with 11 men.

Finished a very boring 0-0,nothing much to say .Not that many chances although Hendriks had only the goalie to beat but missed it.In the 2nd half a nice chip by Frenkie de Jong hit the crossbar.He does impress me every time I see him.

Serero got injured in warm up so did not play, Bakker replaced him. On 70 mins Zivkovic for Hendriks and Acolatse for Muric were the only subs used.

Also important home game for traditional club Sparta Rotterdam tonight. They are on their way to the title so next year perhaps 3 teams from Rotterdam in the Eredivisie but especially Sparta deserves it.

Onana is a good lad! I wonder how many years he'll be patient to wait behind Cillessen.

How is Frenkie de Jong playing today, SPL? Regarding him you only see and hear good things so far.

2-1 defeat unjust . On 78 a weak pen .think we touched one of their players and he went down.3 mins later a free kick and they got a header from the cross for no 2.They did not deserve to win but we did not create enough chances.

de Jong played very well went off after 70 for Bakker.Big mistake as he and Nouri were very good . Nouri is just a delight to watch and I am impressed by de Jong. By the time the goals came Owusu had given way on 75 to Mirani and we then had Mirani as well as Dankerlui in defence ,Both are poor. (El Mahdioui for Clement for the last 10mins the other sub)

Just to add,Nouri de Jong and Onana impressed,the front 3 were ok but not great tonight.The back 4 are not good enough and the weak link of the side.With no A1 game this weekend why weren't some of our youths on the bench.

I put my comments a bit quick last night.Should have said Onana saved the penalty but the rebound wen to the PSV lad who stuck it in the net.

On Ajaxshowtime ,the main news site for youth and everything Ajax,the resident journalist praising de Jong and saying once he went off after 70 mins we went down hill.He praised Nouri and Onana as well and that was it . Nouri and deJong played very well together. Making Nouri play with our A1 the other week was a joke.

Our front 3 all struggled but they have talent but the defence is not good enough . We do have many forwards , midfielders and young goalies coming through but defence is a problem.Seems loads of right backs but no left backs and the only Cd I read will make it is de Ligt ,aged 16.

I thought Lartey Sanniez is rated as a defender. Is he out injured?

No idea about Sanniez,assume he is injured.I have seen him a few times and he looks a decent defender. The comments I read on Ajaxshowtime suggests the Dutch fans think him decent.No one has mentioned injury so not sure why he has not played for a few games.Contract to 2018 and only 20 in August so he ought not to leave.

also Eiting played center back in the Youth League match against Chelsea earlier this week. With all the midfielders we have I wonder if he is being seriously considered for a back line position.

Eiting is still a DM but last Tuesday they decided to play over age El Mahdioui as DM and play Eiting in CD instead of Bergsma ,the normal CD

Sidoel and Leyder 2 youth Cd's, with contracts, have both been out injured for a lengthy time and just coming back.

Nouri not playing but he played 3 games for Dutch U19 last weekend .

2-1 win for Jong.Having been a goal down after 32 mins its was still 1-0 down at 91 mins then Muric on 92 mins and Cerny on 93 won the game.

Cerny on 77 mins for Zivkovic and Mirani on 80 for Sanniez the subs.

Clearly the highlights were all in injury time and a good win by Jong but half the 17 squad for this game wont be here next season.For the remaining 5 games it would be nice to see some youths on the bench at least.All those going should not be involved anymore
