I agree he has youth on his side... But am I the only one who's not convinced by this guy yet?

Boilesen has now said that although happy with us he may consider moving,and has had interest from Celta Vigo and other Spanish clubs. He has said if he does not go he will have to sign a new contract. Well he is struggling this season with form and still injury prone and I would sell him.

It appears that Riedewald is an adequate replacement and Boilesen is approaching the age where we sell on. Big question is what kind of transfer value will he have. Certainly teams from the EPL can pay more than a team such as Celta de Vigo. I cannot see any of the top ten teams in Europe going for him even though left backs are at a premium as I don't think he has the ability. That coupled with his injury history lead me to believe that we won't get much more than €6-8M if that.

Think 6m to 8m is very optimistic for such an injury prone player with just 1 year left on his contract .We only got about 12 m for Vertoghen ,who also had one year left but imo was in a different class. 3 or 4 m max is all we can expect. Riedewald seems to be earmarked as a CD but with just him and Viegever as left sided defenders we need to buy someone.

Pelle Clement a winger from our A1 youth squad has signed a contract to 2017 ,he will just be padding for the Jong.He is not highly rated and Cerny and Dekker are the 2 regular wingers in the A1 youth.

Not confirmed but the experts on ajax showtime say A1 full back Dankerlui and A2 youth team striker Bulut are being offered contracts and so is the highly rated Eiting.

They also said that 16 year olds Nunnely,Malen and 15 year old de Ligt,all stars with our B1 /U17 youth team have had offers from Man U,Man City and Arsenal and all turned them down ,suggesting they will stay and wait until next year when they will sign contracts with us at 17.(Overmars pull your finger out and give them contracts now)

Kenny Tete has signed until 2018,which is good news considering Raiola is his agent.Just got to sort Kishna out and all those talented 16 year old local kids then Overmars will have done a good job.

A minor extension Jong Ajax goalie Norbert Alblas has extended to 2016.He has been out since before Christmas with a knee ligament injury and I think he wont be fit until October time.

Apart from Cillessen and Boer we now have Onana,Mous,Alblas Leeuwenburgh,Groothuizen and V Bladeren under contract with v d Hart on loan.Not sure how many more we need

Carel Eiting 17 year old DM with our A1 youth signs to 2018. Only other A1 youth expected to get a contract is Dankerlui 19 who is a full back. Sno another full back coming up 19 is not getting a contract ,he too has played for the A1.

Eiting is the best of our 17 year olds ( ie.those born in 1998) and the only one likely to be given a contract.If we are not going to give any other 17 year olds a contract I have no problem with such kids leaving . The top English sides only tend to sign kids at 16 thus Malen, de Ligt and Nunnely are the 3 they are looking at.

Great news Ajax have seen sense and have offered a contract to 16 year old striker Donyell Malen but have to get agent Raiola to agree!
The other major talent being sought by the big clubs de Ligt has evidently turned down offers from abroad but he is not 16 until August so even if he does not get a contract to July 2016 he would still only be 16 then.

Boilesen,whose contract runs out in 2016 is to talk about an extension.He has said he fancies a move abroad but probably knows another year with us is the best thing.

The only other first teamers still contracted to 2016 are Sigthorsson ,who will leave this summer and Kishna who is likely to leave although Ajax have an option to 2017 on him.

Damil Dankerlui a defender from our youth ,also played for Jong Ajax, has signed a contract to June 2018 . We do seem to have a few full backs,Tete, Sanniez and Owusu are also mainly RB and rated ahead of Dankerlui.

Bulut,who scored 3 for A1 on saturday but has scored about 20 for the lesser A2's this season does not look like getting a contract. Think that odd, as surely we could have given him a season in Jong to see if he can score goals at that level.

Wim Jonk today saying our policy of not giving contracts to our own 16 year olds has not worked so thankfully they may well give contracts to Malen,Nunnely and de Ligt our 3 best 16 year olds.Seems like Ajax were shocked 3 x16 year olds walked out last year to go abroad.

Despite the saga surrounding Ricardo Kishna. I still believe he will be with us next season, whether he renews his contract or not, may or may not be a different story. The only concern is Zivkovic, who may leave for disciplinary reasons.

Riedewald extended from 2018 to 2019 today.He only signed to 2018 last September when he reached 18.Thought he would have signed to 2020 but 2019 is good enough for this talented lad.


Regards above post ,Zivkovic's problems seem to be timekeeping but he must be fed up only playing JL games.Watching a carthorse like Siggy is bad enough for fans let alone an 18 year old kid who scored 12goals for Groningen the previous season.

Kishna may well stay another year ,we have an option to extend to 2017 so no fear of him leaving on a free next summer.

Old news but Bazoer officially signed to 2020 today . For all the critisicm of Overmars he is doing great with contract extensions of young talents. If he can soon get Kishna to extend and Fischer too (he runs to 2017) then every key player will run to 2018 at least . ( Boilesen will either leave or extend this summer)

Ajax have offered a contract to 16 year old wing talent Che Nunnely and his agent suggests he wants to stay.
The other 16 year old offered a contract Donyell Malen is yet to decide but Raiola is his agent.

The final 16 year old major talent, yet to be offered a contract, is de Ligt but he is not 16 until August but given he is rated very highly I would expect an offer.Again like Nunnely he has already indicated he wants to stay and is not interested in a move to England.

Good news that we have changed policy and now give contracts to the best 16 year olds.Losing 3 last year was just pathetic for a club world famous for its youth. Fosu-Mensah now 17 is tipped to debut for Man U firsts at some stage next season.

Apart from hopefully Kishna I don't expect much more on contract extensions for either first or Jong squads this summer but thankfully Ajax are now concentrating on their life blood the youth for the future.After all our training complex is not called de Toekomst for nothing.

Following the report yesterday that Nunnely is getting an offer today's news says we are offering contracts to 2 defenders.17 year old Darren Sidoel , a CD who has played for our A2 and even main A1 teams this season.In addition 16 year old RB Navajo Bakboord has played regularly for our B1 this season.

Apart from de Ligt I would imagine no further 16 year olds would get offers . Of the 17 year olds Dani de Wit and Reda Boultam ,both MF, who played for Holland U17's last month ought to get offers, and maybe B1 goalie de Lange who is highly rated .

The first team is the most important team and I do want us to sign a couple of decent experienced first teamers but the above news that we are giving contracts to 16 year olds , who are being sought by foreign sides, really cheers me up.

Darren Sidoel a 16 year old defender has signed for 3 years toJune 2018 ( he is 17 this year ie born 1998 ,the other 16 year olds quoted are all from 1999)

We have tried to sign a16 year old winger called Bobby Adekanye by offering a 3 year contract. This lad was in our academy until aged 12 but left for Barcelona.Last summer he was banned from playing for them as he had been signed illegally under age.Barca loaned him to PSV for last season and now Barca don't want him.PSV and ourselves offerd 3 year contracts,but he has chosen the money of Liverpool and will probably never be heard of again.

Che Nunnely, a winger, the first of the really 3 big 16 year old talents has agreed a 3 year deal to 2018 and will sign next week. ( Should have said Sidoel only agreed a deal and not yet signed as Overmars is in Austria this week I believe.)

Of the 2 other big talents Matthijs de Ligt,defender,is not 16 until next month but has indicated he is staying. The other, striker Donyell Malen has had an offer but has Raiola as agent and has made no comment on what he is to do.

All 3 were wanted by English sides so good that Nunnely and de Ligt are staying and not going abroad.Hope Malen stays.

We may still be waiting for another striker to be signed but Ajax are doing well with youths .With Sidoel and Nunnely officially signing 3 year deals this week news today that 17 year old MF Reda Boultam has been offered a3 year deal. He recently played in the U17 Euros for Holland.

On friday we signed another 17 year old to 2018,midfielder Azor Matusiwa who joined from Almere 2 years ago.Doesn't seem like one of the top talents from that age group.

Meanwhile Tete who only extended to 2018 back end of last season is open to another extension even though his agent is Raiola.Tete says he want to spend a few years with us as its his club.Good to hear.
