Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Regards the last 2 posts above, Pasquali has confirmed he is joining Western United in Sydney.
2 or 3 years ago we bought a few overseas kids for our youth and none have made it. In the current youth the only one left Gorski ,a Polish goalie, hardly ever plays and will go this summer.Clearly scouting was not very high at the time but we have improved our scouting now so hopefully we will get a better quality of youth from Overseas.Jensen signed age 16 and now promoted to Jong but doesn't look that special at the moment.
At Jong level we have bought a few aged 18 and Kotarski and Traore look like possible first teamers. Question marks over Kuhn, Pereira .Kuhn had a big reputation but not really dominate at Jong ,predict he will return to Germany.
Pereira scores regularly at Jong but Traore is now the main striker there and next season Brobbey will be at Jong.Pereira will then be 20 and maybe rented out.
The South Africans Solomons and Thetani are poor and should be returned to Cape Town.
Last teenager signed from abroad and made it Dolberg but he is struggling with form at present.

From FootballOranje.com
David Neres could be one of the stars leaving Ajax this summer with AC Milan reportedly circling the Brazilian winger.
De Telegraaf reported on Wednesday that Neres leaving Ajax this summer is likely with the winger unhappy playing under Erik ten Hag, who dropped him to the bench earlier this season.
Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande failed with a €43 million offer in January but AC Milan are now in the running for a summer move.
According to Brazilian outlet, UOL Esporte, AC Milan have made Neres their top priority for this summer. Their techincal director Leonardo has been in contact with the forward since December.
The Italian giants are willing to pay €50 million for the 22-year-old, who is also getting interest from AS Roma and Borussia Dortmund.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
de telegraaf has gotten a few ajax rumors wrong this year already so not sure how much i trust this latest one. a few days ago, neres said that he's happy at ajax and has no reason to leave in the summer. we shall see...
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
I agree with kezem44, de Telegraaf has been really horrible recently. I'm discounting everything in the 'rumor' category and will only believe things when signatures are signed and money deposited.
Appie Nouri will forever be remembered for his grace and humanity on and off the pitch!
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Apparently De Telegraaf is not a big fan of Ajax and usually starts trouble regarding transfer rumours, team issues, issues with the manager etc.
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
So Tagliafico's agent said that they rejected an extension offer from us. He's prepared to leave during the summer.
Is Pierie his successor? Is he a natural left back?

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
de Telegraaf printed an article yesterday about players leaving in the summer and they reckon Gravenberch will leave as Raiola is agent and he hasn't had any playing time since his debut vPSV.
Later on yesterday Ajaxshowtime ran a response from his angry father saying the paper knows nothing and is making it up. Mr Gravenberch made it clear his son had turned down big offers from overseas and is happy to develop at Ajax.At 16 he is not ready to breakthrough yet and his son realises this.
He is contracted to 2021 but cannot sign a contract for more than 3 years until he is 18 and that is not until May 2020.
If he does not extend his contract next year then we may see him go then.

I believe Pierie is a CD and left footed.Blind could then play left back or even midfield.

Yeah Pierie is a CD. We might have get a new LB or have Blind play there.SPL schreef:souras84

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
I still have my concerns about Blind in LB. So who's to partner Pierie at CB? Magallan?

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
From what I've read, we're buying Pierie and will continue to let him play at Heerenveen for next season.
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Azor Matusiwa , currently on loan at de Graafschap, has been told he has no future with us even though he has a contract to 2020.Thought he may come back to understudy Schone but he should pick up a good side.
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Bad move, he is promising, and versatile, he can paly the centre of midfield and right back. Considering the fact that, Veltman will leave, Mazraoui being a midfielder, and Nissen too weak. This is a miscalculation on Overmars' part.SPL schreef:Azor Matusiwa , currently on loan at de Graafschap, has been told he has no future with us even though he has a contract to 2020.Thought he may come back to understudy Schone but he should pick up a good side.
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Sinkgraven seems off to Leverkeusen to join Bosz. Injuries these last 2 years have held him back. He has been seen as a LB back up although really a MF . Probably its time to let him go he will never be more than back up.
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
I think his contract runs out next season and it's difficult to rationalize an extension at this point. Doubt we will get much money for him as the injuries and short contract will make it hard.SPL schreef:Sinkgraven seems off to Leverkeusen to join Bosz. Injuries these last 2 years have held him back. Saw a story linking Neres to Chelsea but that presumes they get their transfer ban lifted.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Mino Raiola has increased the financial demands for Matthijs de Ligt and also wants Barcelona to give the 19-year-old defender a key role in their squad. At this moment, the Catalan club is incapable of meeting these new stipulations.
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Sinkgraven's contract does run to 2020 but he only got a 1 year extension before Christmas. Talk of getting 5m to7m.
Raiola wants 20% of the de Ligt fee whereas 5 to10% is usual. The agent's cut is on top of the transfer fee hence talk of only 70m for us.Barca would have to pay another 14m to Raiola.
de Ligt wants to go to Barca so chooses an agent who is over greedy and it looks like he wont go there.Talk of Man u in for him now. Please not !

It's still not clear what Raiola's three month transfer penalty means.

So we are in for another long summer? A summer of a lot of uncertaintySPL schreef:Sinkgraven's contract does run to 2020 but he only got a 1 year extension before Christmas. Talk of getting 5m to7m.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
I'm not so sure. Right now I think the following players in addition to de Jong will leave: Ziyech (Overmars promised him he could leave if he stayed on this season), de Ligt (probably but as I noted, I'm not sure what Raiola's 3 month ban means and his price tag may be too much for Barca unless they off load a bunch of players), and Neres (his value seems to be going through the roof).Ayman schreef:So we are in for another long summer? Onana and Tagliafico said they are staying another season. Blind and Tadic are not going anywhere. Here is a list by position of the Ajax roster who played at least one match this season, were on loan, or youth players Ajax included on their official Champions League roster with an asterisk. Bande was out injured all season but expected to see first team action. New transfers are in italics. :
GK: Onana, Scherpen, Varela (on loan from Benfica and don't know if he will be back), van Leer, Lamprou, Kotarski*
Defense: Tagliafico, Blind, de Ligt, Mazraoui, Veltman, Magallan, Schuurs, Perie, Marinez, Kristensen, Sinkgraven, Botman*, Bakboord*
MF: Schöne, van de Beek, Marin, Eiting, Ekkelenkamp, Gravenberch, Labyad, de Wit, Lang
Forwards: Huntelaar, Dolberg, Traore, Neres, Tadic, Bande, Cerny, Nunnely*
Jong Ajax players who may be in the mix: Jurien & Quinen Timber, Kuhn, Danilo Pereira, Bijleveld, Dest
A fair amount of talent still remains.
Appie Nouri will forever be remembered for his grace and humanity on and off the pitch!
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
From what I see and considering the transfers of Neres & Ziyech, we need to strengthen our wings, even if Bande returns as a first team player.
For the center back positions I still wonder if either Magallan or Schuurs are adequate enough to play alongside Blind(?) or maybe Martinez/Pierie will fill that position. If the latter happens, we will have 2 left footed defenders. Are we in the market for another right footed defender?
The striker position... Huntelaar is a guarantee on the bench and whenever called to action. Ten Haag seems to have faith in Dolberg, even though he was a shadow of his former self this year! Traore is knocking on first team's door. Let's hope he is what we see he is.
Finally, the right back enigma... Mazraoui/Veltman/Kristensen. If they need Mazraoui as a midfielder then what? If not, I guess we're letting one of the other two leave...
A very interesting summer and I don't want to think us being in trouble qualifying for the next CL. Only our ego or super confidence can put us in danger

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
FC Utrecht and Ajax are in talks over a transfer of of Ajax winger Vaclav Cerny. The forward has a contract until 2020

Yes.Ayman schreef:FC Utrecht and Ajax are in talks over a transfer of of Ajax winger Vaclav Cerny. The forward has a contract until 2020
Pretty good chance this will be his next destination as long as my sources gave information.
After such a long time without playing time everybody just wants for Cerny that he can play between 25 and 34 Eredivisie matches on Eredivisie level.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
I think Cerny played in a couple of Beker matches this past season and was on the bench for one or two Eredivisie games. Hope he can stay injury free.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Looks like de Ligt will go to either Liverpool or Barcelona, Man City with an outside chance of signing him. We are going to have a big gaping hole at the back!
