Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Raiola doesn't like Levy of Tottenham or Guardiola of Man City, in fact he is more hostile to Guardiola, even though that's not saying much with regards to his unfavourable views of Levy http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/05/03/du ... act-de-li/ Here is the link to his feud with Guardiola. http://www.espn.co.uk/football/manchest ... s-a-person
But if this is the case, and Barcelona lose interest, while Bayern put off by the price tag? Who's left? Liverpool?

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Reading comments about Raiola he does seem to be the most unpopular agent with the big clubs. Barca have said they wont deal with him and Bayern dont like him either.
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Here is my summation; have I missed any clubs??SPL schreef:Reading comments about Raiola he does seem to be the most unpopular agent with the big clubs. Barca have said they wont deal with him and Bayern dont like him either.
Clubs that Don't Like Raiola: Ajax, Juventus, Milan, ManCity, Bayern, ManU, Barca, Tottenham
Big Clubs that Remain: PSG, Liverpool, Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal (but they have not been big spenders)
Other Clubs that Have Money: Dortmund (Dembele and Aubamayang transfers), ????
Appie Nouri will forever be remembered for his grace and humanity on and off the pitch!
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
de Telegraaf are reporting that Ajax plans to keep Onana, de Ligt, Neres, & Frenkie de Jong and have told ten Hag this. Good luck to that!! Ziyech is of course allowed to leave and the club would like Kluivert to stay.
It is going to be difficult to qualify for the CL this season as the reorganization is now in place. England, Italy, Germany and Spain are guaranteed four spots in the group stage. Because Dutch teams have done so poorly in Euro competition even PSV have to go through a qualifying round. Ajax are competing for TWO (yes, that's right) spots in the group stage. UEFA is just bowing to pressure from the big federations with this reorganization. Realistically, Europa League is a better possibility but as we saw this season, even that is fraught with peril. UEFA has driven a stake through the hearts of clubs such as Ajax and I cannot see a realistic future where players will stay more than a couple of years.
EDIT: The only way this will be changed is for Dutch clubs to go deep into Euro competition and raise the UEFA coefficient. Right now they stand at 13 behind Turkey, Czech Republic and Switzerland.

Ziyech’s agent in talks with Juventus and Roma
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Kluivert is not renewing and blames Ajax and says they are just interested in making money . Sorry to say it but just push off and I really dont care what happens to him. Raiola is to blame .
Talking to a Spurs fan today he says Spurs dont deal with Raiola so it will be interesting to see who will buy de Ligt.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
I assume Kluivert will now leave ,and sooner the better.Mind I would love to see the club stick him in Jong Ajax for a season.
Man City do indeed seem to be favourites for de Ligt.Maybe they will leave him on loan for next season!
Back to our other pro team Jong Ajax. Ajax have not said anything about 5 players with contracts up.Sidoel still talking a new contract and nothing on Mees de Wit or Boultam but Leeuwenburgh the goalie has said that he is leaving .
Terry Lartey Sanniez has also said goodbye and there is a lovely article on Ajax showtime. He is a decent full back for Jong and still think he will end up having a decent career. He is very close to Appie and his family and he has seen Appie and goes along with Donny to visit him.Great respect for this guy who has nothing but praise for his time at Ajax.

If this is true then Overmars is to blame, they even quote him. http://theboyhotspur.com/tragic-levy-bungle-revealed/
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Zeefuik is joining Groningen on a 3 year deal, having been on loan since January. He is not the level of Ajax 1st team but then again Orejuela and Kristensen are not either and we have thrown away 9m on those 2.
PSV looking to buy Dumfries from Heerenveen and have Viergever . I would be happy with those 2 as back ups !!

Apparently, Matusiwa can play right back, also Mazraoui is adjusting to that positionSPL schreef:Zeefuik is joining Groningen on a 3 year deal, having been on loan since January. He is not the level of Ajax 1st team but then again Orejuela and Kristensen are not either and we have thrown away 9m on those 2.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Roma have agreed personal terms with Justin Kluivert. However, the Italian side have not agreed a fee with Ajax yet. (Corriere dello Sport)
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
We want 20m for him . Hope they agree to pay up and he can then clear off never to be heard of again .
Scoring goals in Italy will be a lot harder than v Willem Roda and VVV level.

I have feeling Ajax will cave and let him go for 14m

I'm afraid he will only go for a fee no more than 8 million Euros.SPL schreef:We want 20m for him . Hope they agree to pay up and he can then clear off never to be heard of again .

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Premier League champions Manchester City have also been linked with a big-money move for the centre-back, with reports from Italy even claiming that Pep Guardiola's side had seen a £52.5million bid accepted.
Amid a lot of talk regarding his next destination, De Ligt, speaking in a blog on Ajax.nl, said that he doesn't take reports too seriously
''I hardly read any more messages that have to do with transfers," he said. "Only occasionally do I do that and some messages are really laughable
"The sheets must be filled and that is why a lot is written. But my experience is that what is published is not always based on truth''

I have an optimistic feeling b that de Ligt will stay. Of course I am often wrong.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
From your words to Gods eyes! The thing is, I wouldn't mind him leaving end of next season, to give time for Schuurs and (possibly) Magallan to blend and improve. Even though de Ligt would be 19, still to young to leave.Orange14 schreef:I have an optimistic feeling b that de Ligt will stay. Of course I am often wrong.
What I can't believe is that, 20 years ago, we struggled to keep players around the age of 28, now we are struggling to keep them at 18!!! That is worrying, so in 20 years time, would Ajax be a club anymore, the way things are going? We just pray!
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Think more like 15m for Kluivert. He could have walked out 2 years ago before his 1st contract so 15m is good money. If his name were not Kluivert we could be looking at 5m max.
As for de Ligt we should try and keep him for another year.Man City could pay 60m and let him stay another year.
I actually think we should ask 80m. de Ligt will soon be better than V Dijk and Spurs want 80m for Alderweireld and de Ligt will be better than him.
Losing 18 year olds is bad but both exceptional cases.de Ligt is simply too good for Dutch footy and is ready for EPL.
Kluivert is a spoilt little rich kid with a big ego and thinks he is superstar like his Dad.
Cannot believe a year ago we were in the Europa final.5 of that team have gone and 3 more de Ligt,Onana and Ziyech will soon be off.And clubs are still sniffing round Dolberg despite his poor season.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Not sure if I said this here before, but... Could last seasons Europa League final be Ajax's 1969 moment? i.e. When they played AC Milan in the European cup final and lost, because their opposition were mature and experienced, much like Man Utd were last season. Yes I know it was a totally different era, but the analogy fits.SPL schreef: Cannot believe a year ago we were in the Europa final.5 of that team have gone and 3 more de Ligt,Onana and Ziyech will soon be off.And clubs are still sniffing round Dolberg despite his poor season.
As for the transfers, Kluivert's case is interesting, I doubt AS Roma would be willing to pay more than 10 million Euros, while de Ligt's transfer is pretty straight forward either he goes or stays for one more season considering he has a contract till 2021 (option of another season as well), if the deal with Man City or Tottenham fall through, I can't see him going on strike. I can see Kluivert going on strike and leaving in January, assuming that Ajax are having a very bad season in 2018/19. That said, I am hoping Kluivert stays and plays and leaves for free. Remember Ajax let 3 players leave after their contracts expired, e.g. Dijks, Viergever and Younes. Two out of those three were regular players the previous season, 2016/17.
Re: Players Leaving Ajax
Roma are close to a deal worth €15m plus bonuses for Ajax teenager Justin Kluivert, according to Calciomercato.com.
The offer on the table is €15m, the demand from the Dutch club believed to be €20m, but the player is reportedly eager to make the transfer.

Re: Players Leaving Ajax
de Ligt wont go to Italy.Unlike Kluivert he can think for himself. Talk here that Alderweireld to Man u for 80m euros and Spurs buy de Ligt for 60m . My pal ,a Man u season ticket holder, says they wont pay that sort of money for a 29 year old.
