Hope we let Krul go back in January, a stupid signing .He is still not deemed match fit enough to be involved in the 1sts.

Certainly in retrospect. I don't think they knew how good Onana was going to be. It's interesting how many youth keepers from Ajax are starting or at least playing somewhat regularly with other clubs.

We don't know if he's going to make it there though. In the player's perspective I guess its better to be on the bench at an EPL team and make 5m a year than on the bench at Ajax. That's my summary of this move which can of course be incorrect.

Probably because it is the only team that is willing to pay that much! His brother, the agent, gets a cut of the transfer fee. I value him today at about €6M, if that. I hope he can regain his confidence and improve his handling speed.

There were also some Italian sides and some names of other big clubs involved, but choosing for Wolfsburg is probably also choosing to get more playing time.

Gudelj has today posted he thinks the majority of fans want him back in the 1st team and he will wait and see what the winter break offers. The article posting this did suggest Gudelj may have taken some substance ie drink or something you can buy in shops near the Dam Square !!

This useless player refused to play for us and should have had his contract ripped up and sacked. Hope he leave in January with his useless brother.

Rumour today Milan watching El Ghazi and an offer of between 10 and 15 m is to be made next month. Think we should take this and get a better winger , fast with an accurate cross and a team man not someone who thinks he is Ronaldo. .

I wish him good luck as well. He was an interesting player for Ajax, capable of some wonderful goals but also one that had major flaws in his game, principally lack of handling speed. I'm glad he moved to a team such as Wolfsburg where he can work on his game assuming they do not get relegated. Bundesliga play free flowing football so we'll see how well Bazoer adapts. IMO, the youth MFs are better prospects than he is right now.

For a player that never really made a breakthrough to the first team, 12m is a huge amount. Sure he has potential, but I really think we made a great deal. I mean we payed 5m for Sanchez, who I think will have a brighter future.

Westermann is not going to leave as he will be retiring after he finishes his Ajax contract. He's just like Oojier in that regard, someone who can fill in as needed. Tete is a complicated case as I don't think Zeefuik is ready for first team football. Unfortunately, Tete looks to be quite disinterested in Ajax after he lost his starting position to Veltman. el Ghazi is at least playing hard and I saw a more balanced performance by him last weekend. Quite frankly I was surprised that he did not start yesterday. I think he is needed until the end of this season. I still don't know what to make of Clement. I was not impressed by his first half yesterday and was impressed by the second. He seems to have a good head for football but I'm unsure whether he has the quickness that is needed.

Krul is here on loan and is still not match fit otherwise he would have played in the cup tie against Cambuur. Leeuwenburgh is hardly ready and just now back to playing after a bad injury. The one prospect who might have stepped in is Groothuizen who is out on loan this year.
