Ajax officially confirm Sheraldo Becker has joined ADO for 3 years ,for a small sum.

Muric was reported as going in the press yesterday but not yet by Ajax. Cillessen trained with Ajax today and we may still see him in Rostov

Cillessen is to sign a 5 year contract at Barca with a €60M release clause so they must really think highly of him. It also looks like there are some performance bonuses so Ajax might get an extra €2M in the end. Good luck to our former keeper, he certainly performed well during his stay at Ajax.

Bazoer ,Schone Sinkgraven all could go. Bazoer I just read interest from Italy and Germany. Napoli bid 25 m plus add ons of 15m back in January but on current form what would we accept ?

Ajax will cooperate with the sale of Bazoer. I guess an offer of 20m plus would be good but his form since last Christmas has been poor but he has hugh potential. How Ajax can sell him and keep Gudelj is beyond me!

I see 3 or 4 players leaving mainly midfielders ie Sinkgraven Schone Serero.

I suspect Bazoer is insecure right now because of the drop off in form late last year. He probably wants to stay and fight it out at Ajax. At one point he was looked at as a DM but I'm not sure he's up for that as he doesn't defend particularly well (of course Gudelj doesn't either).

Bazoer's gotta be thinking Klaassen and Ziyech are starters so he's left fighting Gudelj and Riedewald for DMF. Obvious thing is to sell Gudelj and keep Bazoer, but this is Ajax ;)

Except Riedewald, I don't think Bazoer or anyone in the first team currently, has the vision, tackling, positioning or passing ability to play a DM right now. From what I hear De Jong/Eiting are/will be that player.

I think Klaassen should be sold in the winter/next summer. We should plan on having Bazoer/Van De Beek fighting for Klaassen's spot once the sale goes through. Maybe the right answer is to have Bazoer/Van De Beek go on loan for a year.

Nouri needs to prove to us that he is better than Ziyech and should share that role with him for the next 2-3 years.

I don't think we need a wholesale clean out. We need to get rid of Serrero, Schone. Try and sell Gudelj to Inter and send Van De Beek on loan for 1 year.

Bazoer is staying and fighting for his place ,which is good news.

El Ghazi could be off for 12m,Ajax are prepared to sell him.

Schöne may go back to Denmark and Bronby. Overmars said there may be some sales but as SPL pointed out regarding el Ghazi and Bazoer (who is staying) it's not clear who else will leave.

I am actually happy that Bazoer decided to stay and FIGHT!!!!! Let's hope for a major improvment of his performance in the coming months. I read that his price continues to be around 25m which is great news for us.

If El Ghazi leaves, that could be a problem for the winger position in our team. I guess we needed one more player in the summer transfer window. Plus one defender right or left. I think we should get these 2 players. But now it's too late

Very quiet day yesterday and pleased Bazoer and El Ghazi stayed.They are young and in a form dip .

Our only problem now is Schone and Serero are still here and are surplus . Both wanted to stay as their wages are too good.Schone may still get odd games but Serero is not going to get any games ,maybe we should just pay him off.

Regarding what SPL just posted, there was a good column in The New York Times yesterday about the difficulty in getting rid of unwanted players: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/31/sport ... ports&_r=0 Of course some of these players make much more money than Serero and Schöne, but Ajax have the same problem but on a smaller scale. I think this crazy spending by the EPL and some of the other teams will bring about their demise in the long run as they will have so much money committed to player salaries and will have to pay other teams to buy/loan the excess unwanteds.

Every year for about 5 years now we always carry some dead wood ie a player whose in the last year of their contract who is not needed, last year Boilesen . This summer we actually paid Duarte off approx 200k .Serero sadly needs paying off but must be on 600k or 700k. I guess we wont pay him that sort of money but we should do something to get rid of him . He was injured in May and I am not sure whether he is even fully fit.

We got rid of our A2 youth team and over 20 players were released. I have already mentioned a Fofana and Sulejman ,both 16 ,have joined Lazio but today it confirms a 3rd kid is off to Italy .17 year old MF Victor v d Linde has joined Serie B side Novara Calcio on a 3 year deal. Good luck to him.
