It's quite hot over here in the USA as well. We were at the ocean over the weekend for our holiday and thanks to the sea breezes it "only" got as high as 32. Just got back home and it's expected to be 38 today and not much cooler at night time as a big heat wave will be here all week long. Of course we have air conditioning which makes things livable.

Fee quoted 34m euros but resale was 10% so his old club get 3.4 m only .We have made 27m on him in a year.We have made a great deal on this and although only 18 Dolberg impressed me more last night than Milik has in 2 years. He is a a goal poacher and it will be interesting to see if he gets the chances in the more defensive Italian league.

It's not as if Milik set the field alight with goals, consistent clinical finishing or hat tricks every so often. This is a good deal for Ajax. If it does go through, and with Richairo Zivkovic inevitable move to F.C Utrecht. Ajax would need another striker, hopefully they will enquire about Joel Pohanpalo, the Finnish striker from Bayer Leverkusen!

Same old story. Went abroad maybe a bit too early. And maybe to a team that made the leap too great. Has been loaned out ever since. Should have come to Holland first. Still he has potential and he's not over the hill yet.

Milik officially gone 32 m plus 1 m of future bonuses ie max 33m .Overmars deserves credit Janssen only went for 20m and of the 2 I rate him better. Anything over 20m for Milik would have been great.

Maybe with 30 m in the bank we can now pay poor Duarte off ,he wanted 3 months salary we offered 1 month.

Even though I don't like the fact that we always lose our key players and think that stability in the roster is vital to success in the long run, I agree that we would be crazy not to sell Milik with that price. He's tall, strong and has a good shot with his left, but he lacks speed and technique. And he's not that clinical. We have seen that with Ajax and we also saw that in the Euros. I'm surprised that his value increased so much after the Euros. Yes, Poland did well as a whole, but Milik missed more that a few good chances.

Totally agree with this. We just keep growing our bank balance, but its pointless if we don't spend any of it. Also I don't think any of us get the big picture about having 140 million in the bank.
