Finished 4-1 to Jong Ajax. Zivkovic was subbed by Hendriks on 77 mins so didn't get much chance to add a 4th. ( V.Koesveld for Owusu and El Hasnaoui for Bakker the other subs used )

So an easy win and Denswil and Kishna both playing 90 mins ,they wont be involved in the first team this weekend.I assume Menig and V d Hoorn will be subs on Sunday

The goalie Petersen is on trial from Ajax Cape Town

team was Petersen,Noordhoff,V d Hoorn,Denswil,V Koesveld,Zimling,Duarte,Menig,Muric,Hendriks,Kishna with 2nd half subs El Hasnaoui,Becker and V Bruggen although that is clearly wrong as V Bruggen was playing for Dutch u19's this afternoon. Would expect the Ajax official site to know who actually played!!

NEC are top and I think we will struggle to draw even .

HT 0-0 fairly boring football as very little has happened .

A decent 2nd half but it ended up 1-1 and Ajax really did throw it away. Bazoer playing more as an attacking MF scored on70 mins after nice work from Acolatse(he had come on for Menig and Warmerdam for v Koesveld the other sub).
Ajax looked like holding on but deep into injury time ,nearly 6 mins awarded,Zivkovic broke through ,looked like 3 on one but Zivkovic instead of passing the ball decided to keep it and try and shoot .He lost the ball ,it went down the wing was crossed and they struck it into the net .Nearly 94 mins gone at that stage really poor football.
No one really stood out although I think Duarte is a waste of time at this level.If he is not good enough for our first team sqaud he should be sold asap.

Holding the league leaders was still a good result but we should have won.

Awful mistake from Zivkovic but he certainly got some instant feedback on the consequences of selfish play, so maybe it will make a nice lesson. Let's just hope everyone made it out of the dressing room in one piece, Jaap Stam did not look happy...

Two of your in the English section posting Ajaxtalk members went to De Toekomst, although we didn't see the first 22 minutes.

Awful mess up with 3 attackers against 1 defender in the 93th minute and then conceeding the goal from NEC Nijmegen in the 94th minute.

Zivkovic will feel bad after this match, I have to say both teammates didn't help him superb as their positioning in front of the goal was pretty poor. If you are a striker and decide to go for your own success it is legitimate when you manage to finish it off like we were used from players like Bergkamp and Laudrup. Zivkovic didn't manage to.

Agree that the second half on a cold November night was entertaining and was worth the 5 euros entrance fee.

A comfortable 4-0 win by us tonight. Zivkovic scored 2 ,one a penalty. with Zimling and Menig 1 each.

Bakker for Zimling and Acolatse for Becker were subs used later in the 2nd half.

Clearly playing with 3 defensive MF did us no harm. Duarte ,who played 90 mins on Friday plus kids El Hasnaoui and Keskin,both injured alot ,seem to be our only reserve attacking MF.

Zivkovic probably not going to be sub v APOEL .With the U19's playing APOEL on weds and lots of injuries this squad is down to the bare bones although Duarte is not there neither is Sana .Not good enough for our Jong sums up who rubbish these 2 are.

1-0 to us Zivkovic on 42.Hendriks ran through the centre and side passed to Zivkovic to put into the net . We should win this game but usually end up letting in a late goal.
