PSV, AZ, and Feyenoord all advance to the next qualification round in the Europa League. We really need Dutch teams to win both matches of ties as you get max points for that. The three won and drew to advance leaving UEFA points on the table.

PSV and Feyenoord both won tonight and are through .AZ 3-1 up in ET v Antwerp who are down to 9 men. Looks like 4 Dutch sides through to groups.Great for Dutch footy.

NB AZ won 4-1 in the end and are through.

I started watching the AZ game when the first Antwerp player was sent off. The Belgians played very well and then scored on a wonderful breakaway to make it 1-0 and potentially send them into the group stage. Unfortunately, the striker in his exhuberance ran to the supporters area to celebrate (this is a track and field stadium so he had to run a bit to make it to the fence). He climbed the fence to celebrate which is not permitted under UEFA regulations and warrants a YC. He had already received YC earlier in the match and because of this got sent off. I've never seen this happen before and didn't know about this rule. AZ were very poor even when up two men and missed a bunch of shots until Stengs tied it just before stoppage time. Anyway, all four Dutch teams advance.

Caught the 2nd half of the Utrecht - PSV match. PSV have Viergever and Hendrix both sent off for SFP (serious foul play) following VAR review of the initial YC. Makkelie only needed a couple of seconds at the VAR screen to make the correct RC call. PSV was down 1-0 at the time and loses 3-0.

Wrong man for that team. I really thought van Bronckhorst was dealt with poorly. The club is in such disarray it's not even funny. They really looked like they didn't even want to be playing yesterday. I know they are our big rivals but to see the shell of a team was really shocking and sad.

They have been woeful all season does make me think Stam is a rubbish coach . Spent a couple of years as Jong Ajax coach and we played poor football (well not the football of Ajax that is ).Less than 2 years at Reading in the Championship and they struggled. No surprise he has gone.

I think they will finish 2nd in the league and Ajax have to be on their case when they play them next month. I still don't know when the repairs to the Almaar arena are to be completed. Sure don't want to see Ajax play an extra game on artificial surface (ADO's pitch is their 'home')

PSV on the other hand scraped through the first half after scoring a penalty in the 5th minute. In 2nd half they're being overrun by LASK. Down 2-1 already and could've easily been down 4 or 5 goals.
