So frankly you want to replace Frank as soon as possible or you wish Frank will become more like an Ajax coach..!

Ha! I dunno, I'm still not sure if you can blame him entirely. I think, if he had come in after the velvet "revolution" and started playing a 4–4–2 with direct buildup he would not have kept his job very long. But this slavish devotion to hanging on to possession at all costs is just not resulting in pretty football with our current squad...

I probably should have rephrased my comment, "winning by playing attractive attacking football is the Ajax way." Agree pretty much with what Cruijff and Tom have said but until we get midfielders with good quick ball skills things are not going to change that much. At least Sinkgraven is a step in the right direction.

Yeah, you've told me before you really liked that match, but in my opinion Frank made a couple tacticle mistakes in that match against PSV. Of course Schöne and Moisander should have scored their huge chances to bring in the three points, but Ajax was beaten by the speed of Narsingh and Jozefzoon in the counter attack, while Frank had Zivkovic and didn't even pick him for the squad.

With a static Sigthórsson coming in for a lost Milik we had no power in the front anymore, while Zivkovic proved to be a really quick goalgetter who already made quite some good goals in the Eredivisie.

Raiola is saying again that the crack between Ajax and Kishna is about to break. Clearly he wants his client to leave.Kishna says he is happy to stay but if he is going to keep Raiola we are going to keep having this farce.

Overmars has to earn his money, sit down with Raiola and offer a new contract asap.As I said the other day if Kishna and Tete wont play ball let them go.

My gut feeling is Kishna will go this summer .He has talent but having had a good game v Twente he was poor last night.He needs to stay here for 2 or 3 more years to improve and get consistancy but he will leave for Juve and next season will be loaned to some non descript Italian side where the opposition defenders will kick lumps out of him.

@SPL - agree with you here. I also wonder about Kishna's real value on the market given he has to show full recovery from the knee problems he has suffered. He came off late yesterday but I don't know whether this was just tactical or he had a problem. Raiola has so many high profile clients that I wonder how much attention he really pays to young players. From a business perspective, he ought to be encouraging their development as he will get a much larger payment when they are transferred at full value than too early. Ilan Boccara the french born midfielder who has played very little for Jong this season has had his contract dissolved ,it was to run until end of June.

I think he made 1 first team appearance in 2012/13, went to Evian on loan last season but barely played ,and returned to Jong Ajax this season.

Clearly not good enough and by letting him go now he can at least have a better chance of finding a club for next season.

Cannot see Kishna staying, Raiola played tough last year with his current contract and wants him out. Kishna is not doing himself any favours but his silence suggests he agrees with his agent.

Tete, also with Raiola, should have had a contract extension this time last season ,even then he looked better than Ligeon.

Tete would now be a regular with every other Dutch team except PSV . Given that V Rhijn is average and not going to attract a top english club (Stoke or WBA is his current level) I see him with us for another year.Tete has
outgrown Juplier league level and if Ajax can only offer him the bench next season and some Jupiler league then
I can see him going ,whoever his agent.

Denswil was no worse than Moisander and better than Viegever.OK the agent cocked up but FDB and Overmars were equally to blame.

Final player Zivkovic.He cannot be happy here. Like Tete and Denswil before Christmas ,he is too good for Jupiler level. With Siggy always injured Zivkovic should be sharing the striker role with Milik ,who has not done much since Christmas except v Legia.Since the Iceland cart horse got injured after his Fword game we have played 10 games.Zivkovic did not make the bench in 5 of them !!

This kid should have had another season at Groningen. If come August we have Milik and Siggy is not sold Zivkovic will not want to be no 3 striker again( No 4 if you count Schone has started as a striker)

Not so sure. Denswil was given opportunities but did a bunch of walkabouts when he was in the lineup. Viergever is only 25 years old and can play fullback as well. I think he was an on/off starter in the center at AZ splitting time at fullback. We'll see what Denswil does in Belgium. He can't play in the EL for Brugge as he played for Ajax in CL last fall. I can't find out much more than he has played in four matches thus far. Brugge are in first place in their league and maybe they get CL football next season.

EDIT: I also think Ajax should play hardball with Raiola regarding Kishna if only to send a message. If it were up to me, I'd keep Kishna for the remainder of his contract if only to have him sitting watching television! Blackmail by agents needs to be dealt with.

We should have taken the option on Denswil to 2016 and send him out on loan back in January.We could have reviewed at the end of the season. Anyway he has gone.

FDB and Overmars need to meet Raiola before the end of the month to see if Tete and Kishna want to stay or not.If they want out they don't get picked again this season.

Maybe we should play hard with Raiola and say anyone with him will be sold asap. As for 16 year old kids we should tell them they wont get a contract and will be let go immediately.

Sevilla and Atletico Madrid both rumoured to be interested in Boilesen. I thought April Fool was last week.

Zimling is going back to Mainz at the end of the season which is good news .Dreadful signing,we wasted 1m euros on him.

Biggest problem this summer is trying to get anyone to actually pay money for Sigthorsson and Duarte has 2 years left on his contract ,who is going to pay anything for him.

I see where youth prospect James Efmorfidis is being let go. He was highly rated at one point in time but I guess the other midfielders have surpassed him in promise.

Efmorfidis is an attacking MF but cannot get into the A1 youth due to v d Beek and Nouri. Comments I have read is that he is better then Bakker and Warmerdam,both playing in Jong. With Bazoer,18,Sinkgraven 19 and Andersen 20 he clearly has little chance of breaking through.Good luck to him.

Marvin Honer ,the German striker signed 2 years ago, is leaving on a free transfer and is on trial at Ajax CapeTown. He has rarely played for Jong Ajax in the 2 years due to serious hamstring problems.Like Boilesen he seemed to keep injurying the hamstring.

As expected 16 year old striker Donyell Malen ,who has the blood sucker Raiola as agent is wanted by Arsenal and probably will go. When you have someone like him as an agent at such a young age clearly you are only interested in money . Maybe by the age of 19 he may appear for Arsenal in the league cup and aged 21 he will be back in Holland playing for NAC or suchlike.

The only teenager to leave us and make it goes by the name of Clarence Seedorf.

I quoted Seedorf because he is the only teenager to leave us and make it but he had already made it and had a CLwinning medal.

The only unknown teenager to leave Holland and make it is Tim Krul who is Newcastle goalie.

We give 16 year old foreign kids 3 year deals ,16 year olds from other Dutch teams 3 year deals but our own 16 year olds have to wait until 17. This is a joke.

Maylen,Nunnely and de Ligt are the 3 class 16 year olds (nearly 16 for de Ligt) and we should be contracting them now.

If Ajax truly have faith in the youth academy they should offer contracts to the 16 year olds that are deemed promising. I don't understand the calculus here, perhaps they feel that 16 is just a shade too young to make a decision, but these are only three year contracts and I think there is a limit on the amount as they are still underage. Of course the big clubs in Europe get around some of this by paying off the parents.

Its only the quality players that are going to go abroad at 16,so why risk losing them over a flawed system.I would be unhappy if my talented 16 year old,who had been at Ajax for years, did not get a contract when some non descript foreign lad or some kid from ADO walked in at 16 with a contract.

Man u look like losing goalie de Gea to Real Madrid and Cillessen is near the top of replacements.Figures of between 25 and 35m euros mentioned. He is one of the top goalies imo and we should make Man U pay big.Unlike with Blind who's contract was in to the last year Cillessen has one to 2018 and Overmars has said we wont sell for 25m.


2 Jong players leaving on frees, Keskin a midfielder to Utrecht and Honer the German striker has joined Rodinghausen in German regional div 4. Both have spent the last 2 years in our Jong squad but played little due to injury.Good luck to both of them.
