Another youth signed today Djavan Anderson a B1 midfielder and a Dutch U17 has signed for 3 years to 2015.Have to say having watched our B1 youths in that Aegon tourny the other week this guy never seemed to do much and his name was seldom mentioned.

Was he our no. 10? I think he got some kind of award? Or maybe just a good mention by the Eurosport sportcasters?

he might have been ,not sure. Ajax are interviewing all the youths at present as to who will go and who stays so I am sure there will be some more contracts being made

Elton Acolatse , a 17 year old winger, from our B1 has signed a contract to 2015. Surely Menig and Tete from that team will get contracts!

Mike Busse a 19 year old right sided defender from our A1 signs to 2013 with a 1 year option.

Still likely to be more youths signing contracts.

Anita , current contract to 2014 ,is open for an extension and Boilesen could be signing to 2016 shortly . With Toby likely to extend this is good news that the club are looking ahead and we are hopefully not going to see good players leave with just 1 year left of a contract. The major contract to extend has to be Eriksen. I see him playing 1 more season but if his contract to 2014 is not extended we wil get far less .

Most current contract action is with our Jong and youth. I make the number of Jong and youth with contracts for 2013 onwards is approx 33,including 4 who will shortly finish loans.
Although some Jong will be loaned and 3 of those on loan ie Bonevacia, Sneijder and Castillion will probably be sold that is still a hugh amount of young players under contract.

The number will increase in the next week or 2 as several more A1 may get contracts and some more of our B1 U17 must get contracts.Final number will be over 40! Once the season is over I will list them.

I hope we extend Eriksen. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I wouldn't be surprised if he sticks around for another two years.

Boilesen has agreed to an extension to 2016 which is good news.

On the A1 youth Schoop the A1 striker is not getting an offer but is having a trial at Sheff U. Having signed V Kessel and with the long term injured Jip Bartels fit there clearly is no room in Jong Ajax next season for Schoop described as very strong but having no technique.

Of the A1 and A2 players who are leaving youth level this summer all bar 2 have signed contracts or been released. Sporkslede and Fennich are the 2 and Raiola is their agent!!!. Fennich has been an A1 regular and plays defensive midfield/ central defender just like Sporkslede.

I wasn't impressed with Schoop the few matches that I saw in the youth tournament. Big and strong but no technique as you say.

Another youth signs Xandro Schenk ,left sided defender. until 2014 plus ayear option . Been out since October injured a knee. Along with Busse just a back up defender at A1 level.

Still no Sporkslede or Tete.

And more importantly given my Anita comment earlier when are Ajax going to sit down and talk with Anita and Eriksen's agents . Once Vertonghen goes these 2 are our best players imo and should be on max. salary .

Busy day yesterday as 2 more 1st year A 1 youths are contracted .Boban Lazic 18 year old winger to 2015 and Abdelmalek El Hasnaoui 18 year old midfielder to 2014 plus 2 year option.

yesterday was busy as Tom Noordhoff a 16 year old central defender come defensive midfielder signed to 2015,he is from our B1 under 17 team.

Midflielder Fabian Sporkslede finally signed his new contract until 2015.
He was the last to be contracted, I suppose, as midfielder Kip, keeper Hahn (both Young Ajax) and if I am not wrong striker Schoop (A1) are the only prospects who apparently can leave.
We did a very good job in youth contracts.

good news that Sporkslede has signed . The only remaining A1 for whom there is no decision is Fennich but he is a fringe player . We will still put some more youths under contract ie Gravenberch plus one or 2 more 16 and 17 year olds but so far we have done a good job with putting youths under contract.

Likewise on Aisati -- don't think Sulejmani is all that important to next year's team. Better to try and get some money for him.

Two more youngsters signed: El Hasnaoui and Lazic, both wingers if am not wrong.

I did pick this up about these 2 earlier in the month but with contracts there is agreeing a contract and of course officially signing them.Today of course they officially signed.

Lazic is a winger who has had a long injury this season and El Hasnaoui a midfielder who has become a regular in the A1 team since end January when Bouy left . Both are 18 and have 1 more year left as youths in the A1 .

and still we are contracting youths,Queensy Menig the 16 year old B1 forward signed his first contract today to June 2015 and Sinan Keskin nearly 18, midfielder ,who played mainly as a sub in the second half of the season with our A1 also signed until June 2015 . Still not sure we have finished giving first contracts away as surely Tete of our B1 has to get one !

Meanwhile Joel Veltman, right sided defender from Jong Ajax, has been given a 2 year extension to June 2015 and will start the season with the first team . He looked comfortable last week for Dutch U20 in the Toulon tournement.

I now make it 40 players contracted from our Jong and Youth teams.

Today its Danzell Gravenberch's turn .The 18 year old striker signs until June 2015

Of last season's A1 squad just 3 are without contracts .2 whose youth period is finished, Schoop,who is being released and Sheffield United are trialing him, Fennich who is not listed to go so may still be getting a contract . The only 1st year A1 not under contract Rosheuvel.

At U 17 level just Tete remains.
