Let the bidding war begin. The more we can get for him the better! The quicker he is gone the faster players like Eriksen will get on the pitch.

Obviously a great, great transfer for Urby. I wish him well and I hope he'll make it. But will he...? I have my doubts. I just can't see him becoming a starter at AC Milan. Too inconsistent, too... fickle. Sometimes great, sometimes totally invisible.

Good luck Urby. Not sure about Spurs (in another thread) but AC Milan are starting to look a bit like Ajax, certainly enough of our old boys have passed through in recent years.

It was that UEFA cup match against Auxerre (or some other French side) wasn't it?

IIRC he was subbed on right before a corner and they scored off that corner.

That was indeed the away game at Auxerre, 3-1, but the player was Maduro.

If you realise, those players who won ZERO eridivisies with Ajax have not been as successful as those who have.

IIRC Sneijder never won a title with Ajax. In fact, I don't think he won any titles at all until last year.

Besides, correlation does not equal causation.

I don't think Ko was saying anything bad about Urby, just pointing out how sad it is that a long-time Ajax youth product and professional was with the team so long and didn't win a single championship because the team itself sucked.

If you dont count the the KNVB Cups and dutch super cup then yes you would be right, but i do remember him playing some games when we won our last shield under Ronald Koeman. Anyway back on topic we really should not miss Urby a whole lot, Blin Jr is looking good early on and anita has always been better as our left back, so good luck Urby and the best to you.
