yeah, they had a banner in the crowd for him at today's game. Frank Stapleton (ex Ajax) who was commentating knew who he was and announced that he'd died - I thought I'd missed that.,,,get well soon Bobby.

Just wanted friends from the old and new boards know that there is a new Ajacied around since Friday.

Vera is approx. point five mtr tall and weighs in on 3.8 kg. Promise to bring her to the Arena before she turns 10!

I voted at 6:15 this morning, and had to wait an hour and half to cast my vote.

What's with all those lines and waiting forever before voting?

In twenty years of voting in all sorts of dutch national and local elections I've never ever had to wait for more than half a minute.

Turnout in some states is approaching 80%, which is something close to an all time high.

And since we have a federal system which devolves most power (including voting) to the individual states, some states are better equipped to handle the voters than others.

On the whole, the experience was very positive and civic-minded. I quite enjoyed it.
