PSV have signed Mexican defender Carlos Salcido from Chivas Guadalajara. This guy had already impresed me before the World Cup but cought the eye of a lot of teams during the tournament, the guy is young and can play either at center back and at left back. Good pick-up by the light bulbs... bad news for us
BRING IT ON !!!!...

And here's the funniest thing...

Katwijk is one of the Dutch towns where they have a major local grudge game between the two local Hoofdklasse sides: Katwijk and Quick Boys. These are big games: 10,000 people or more, tremendous atmosphere, sometimes fighting, etc.

Dirk Kuyt started his career at Quick Boys. Now he returns to his home town, and to the ground of 'enemies' Katwijk with Feyenoord... and loses. HAHAHAHA. Wonderful. The Katwijk fans must have been all over him.

I don't want relegation of Feyenoord. The games Ajax - Feyenoord are usually the best games in the whole season, so it will be very bad when it will stop... You may disagree with me, but I think Feyenoord is necessary just to keep Eredivisie interesting league. We just need such games, such emotions.

They can be in the second part of the table, but I really want Feyenoord in first division. Am I stupid? Maybe... ;)

That result made my day! :xyxthumbs:

Too bad Kuyt wasn't in the match and not just on the bench...that would have made it all the better!

As much as I may joke about saying F*** , but not F-word, I definitely don't want them relegated. Relegate any a-holes who insist on hooliganism , but leave the rivalries intact .The classic is an institution . Plus, I have no problems discussing the relative merits of my club or any other, as long as it's done with a civil tongue.

Guess who's back? Our very good mate Stijn Vreven.

I think he was fired by Vitesse during last season or something like that, but the gentleman of football will return. He signed a contract at... yes, that's right, ADO Den Haag!

A player whom we all love joining a club that we all love. What a wonderful day.

The pony tail? I guess it's useful for blinding referees with so they don't see his persistent fouls .Or blowing in the face of the opposition. One more reason to dislike ADO .

I wonder why they wasted the money. They could've invited one of their goons from the stands, stuck a pair of boots and a wig on him, and saved a few dollars.

I don't know about Kuijt leaving. With Kuijt they are not a serious contender for 1st place. Most people rate them 4th or 5th. But with Kuijt gone they suddenly have a lot of money(£10m.?) to spend. Who knows what they will come up with. If they buy Tymoschuk plus a central defender and somehow succeed in getting a reasonable striker from abroad then they might just come out a lot better then if Kuijt had stayed.

I guess that a lot depends on how Wim Jansen(head-scout) and Peter Bosz(TD) will spend the cash. And if rumors are true that Feyenoord gets £5m now and the other half spread out over a couple of years then there is not a whole lot that they can do.

I would like to add that I think that LFC is absolutely bonkers to spend this kind of money on a player with Kuijts limited ability. I wonder how much money Benitez personally makes on this deal. :X
