No way man, he has been training with the new assistent-coach vd Lem all week on giving crosses. And here's the result: a real bombardement of beautifull crosses from our star from Argentina :xyxthumbs:

Yeah, Gerard vd Lem was a winger himself in his playing days. Rosales, and Mitea, have the potential to be great wingers 4-3-3 style. Right on Lem if he can provide the much needed improvement in their game.

No way, it was an applause-substitution for being man of the match :D

No seriously, he got injured and had to moved off on a stretcher. So learn the lesson: don't take Steef to seriously.

What you mean is...

... who had a good game, gave the assist for the opening goal, worked his balls off and had to be stretchered off...?

Rosales out 2-4 weeks. Wonderful! NOT.Those lamenting his talents can rest easy.Personally,I'd rather have Rosales available for AZ,F-word,and other clubs we face in the next month. Hopefully Ridders, and not Boukhari, will get a chance to take advantage of this opportunity, will provide better crosses, and will take players on.

Rosales has been reported as having had problems making training lately.

This is only because he has had problems with his car.

The initial difficulties where that he could not reach the pedals, and then subsequently his shoes were to big to allow him to control one pedal at a time.

More recently it is reported that when he arrived at the training ground the doors and wheels came off and the engine blew up!

Blind was quoted as saying "I wish he would keep that part of his life firmly at the Circus and not allow it to affect Ajax" a point which was not lost on the other winger(the pantomine horse).

Strange one this.I have read several reports on Thursdays game and in particular the vertically challenged ones substitution. Some reports say he left the field to a standing ovation, some say he left the field to a chorus of boos and a couple say he was carried off on a stretcher????
I realise that there is prescious little ever happening in his area of the field but surely somebody would notice if two stretcher bearers came on to remove him.Can anybody clarify what really happened?

Anyway the good news is hes injured for 4/6 weeks so maybe we do have a chance of making Europe and winning the cup.

He went off on a stretcher. I only saw a part of the first half in which Rosales played fairly well. Nothing mindblowing, but he put in some decent crosses and at least looked threatening.

During half-time I switched to the Villarreal - AZ game and didn't know how he'd faired the second half.

If Ajax Netwerk's story is right,it looks like Mauro Rosales is done for the season.I like the player, hope he makes a full recovery, and hope he is ready to play his part on an improved Ajax side come July.

It does appear that Rosales injury is quite bad and he will be out for some time, and I have in the past had a bit of a go at him in this forum, but I would like to say........good,see how much better we are doing without him,I did try to tell you guys.Lets hope hes out for a long time,or even better sold off in the summer. If we do have to keep him could we request that the hospital hes in could operate to stretch his legs a bit.

I was waiting for this one... :sleepy:

But he's right, isn't he? I mean: nothing's really changed in recent weeks (as in: new coaches and stuff). Rosales out is the only thing that's really changed lately, innit?

yeahbutnobutyeahbut..........ok so we have changed our head coach, and backroom team, and we are now playing people in there correct positions(except Maduro)and confidence is coming back and all that stuff.......but Rosales is still crap, lets see what happens when he does get back into the team,he will still be to small, unable to beat the defender, and not able to get a decent cross in.Plus he will be coming back from an injury so he will be even more delecate than he is now......innit.

K-One day, many years from now,you and I will be sitting in a bar, somewhere in Europe, where I will be buying you one of the many beers I owe you and you will say to me"That Rosales that used to play for us,you were right all the time Pizza,he was crap"and I wont say "I told you so".
