Rensch,whose contract runs out next June, is in talks and hopes to sign a new contract.He has said he is not walking out for free.

Of course the European Court ruling on Friday could have a hugh impact on transfers . If players can walk out for little compensation it wont only be Ajax affected.Premier league will be unaffected but in Europe Germany and Spain will be ok but Juventus have just lost 200m last year and Italian clubs and French clubs except PSV, survive on transfers.

Transfer fees especially for England which is awash with money keep football going but the smaller leagues will collapse without transfer fees. Lets wait and see.

What i think will happen is that uefa, clubs and player unions will agree on a collective bargaining agreement that will encompass all uefa member states. Something akin to the agreements that mlb, nba etc hammer out every few years in the usa. Yes, transfer fees will go down and average players will get a bigger share of revenues but transfer system will survive as will Ajax like clubs in smaller leagues.

So today Rensch says he is not sure if and when he signs a new contract.I agree with all the comments on Showtime ie he is walking out for nothing.If he has not signed by end of December either sell him in January or dont give him anymore playing time. Kroes should have been talking back in the early summer but Roma wanted him but he decided to stay.

Ajax should have learnt by now not to let players enter the last year of their contracts and leave it to September to start talking.Sorry people running this club are still a joke.Meanwhile we have a load of dross signed to 2028 that we cannot get rid of.

Jong Ajax striker ,who also gets played on the wing, Don-Angelo Konadu extends his contract by 3 years to 2028 . Rated highly and went to Prague and was on the bench.

Yes great news and Baas has agreed a new deal just to decide whether to 2028 or 29. Rensch still no news but surely give him another 1m pa and with his progress this season we could get 8-10 m back .

Looks like Berghuis is staying and will extend to 2027 ie 2 extra years .He will take a pay cut but says there is no better club in Europe. He could go to S. Arabia but seems like with 2 young kids he wants to see his career out in Holland . Even if he takes a 50% pay cut to 2m pa thats more than any other club in the major leagues would pay.

Still sounds like Rensch will walk out on a free as Liverpool ,Spurs and Barca are looking at him.Surely he would just be a back up squad player at those clubs but he would get paid more which is all that seems important to him.

Baas extends by 2 years to 2028 and gets an updated salary. Taylor and F-Jim,both run to 2027,should get updates. Bounida is the next big issue and gut feeling he will not stay. He earns 500k plus pa and want 1m. For that money he should be playing 1st team footy but maybe he is another Naci Unuvar who did not make it with us.Big decision for Ajax but he looks quality and Spurs were impressed evidently.

3 main youths need to be contracted V d Pavert U19 CD and plays in the U23 Int comp. Nash U17 striker and U16 attacking MF Abdellah Ouazane rated a big talent.

Damian v d Vaart, son of Raffie has signed an extended contract to 2029. He had a contract to 2025 with a years option . He has improved in this his 2nd year at u19 but wouldn't say he was the best MF in our youth and surprise he has been given a 4 year deal .

Plenty of youths and Jong need extensions or 1st contracts .

Bounida's family now want a bit of the pie so the comment the other day he was almost signed is a bit off. We now have a Misehouy situation although he was further ahead in his development.At least Ajax gave him a deadline of last January to sign and then did not pick him again. Bounida is getting playing time for Jong we will have to wait and see .

Yeah, whenever a Jong Ajax player is stuffing about with contracts that is how I expect it to go.

I can’t remember any players who have done this and ended up breaking into our first 11 or making it big in a foreign league.

I too think he will go.All Ajax kids who left before making it with us have failed. Misehouy will make a few loans ie Troyes and Lommel who like Girona both owned by Man City Arabs.In 3 or 4 years he will play for Zwolle.

ps Just seen an article that Misehouy has disappeared from Girona 1st team,made a handful of subs but nothing for 2 months

Ajax registered Bounida for the Europa League playoffs!!!!

U17 capt and winger Pharrell Nash is getting a 3 year contract.(he was 17 on Friday). From the U17 I would hope Ouazanne,just 16 and recently promoted gets a contract ,I read he is one of the most talented in the academy an attacking MF. Simeon a winger, only 15 just before Christmas, should get one.He plays regularly and scores a lot.

In the report about Nash today it suggests Bounida is nearing agreement.

Ajax are now to concentrate on youth again and that is what all fans must be pleased to here.

Alders,now signs to 2028 plus a 1 year option.Hope he gets playing time at Twente otherwise he may well have stayed at Jong Ajax.

Reports today that Bounida is signing , he wants to stay and told his agent to make a deal with Ajax.

Berghuis officially extended to 2027 ,with lesser salary. Has started to play better recently following injury and although I would live with a 1 year deal 2 seems too long as he is going to be more as ub . He is an influence on youngsters which will be important as more of our youths will be promoted.

U17 capt and forward Pharell Nash has signed to 2027 so a 2.5 year contract. Thought he should have got this last summer but deserved.

Mark Verkuijl , a DM for Jong has now shaken off injuries and playing well is shortly to sign an extended contract.

Ajax dont mention Bounida but press say its a matter of time.

Plenty of youths and Jong to get contracts and extensions in the next 2 or 3 months.

Now official Bounida signs to 2028 plus a 1 year option. Brilliant news,thought a month ago he would not stay but he Mokio and Godts are great talents from Belgium.Butera a 4th from Belgium was rated a hugh talent when he signed for us but now seems to be getting fit.

Ryan v d Pavert RB/CD just promoted to Jong signs his first contract to 2029 .Not one of the main talents he is 19 so we must wait and see how he develops.

Tristan Gooijer, RB/CD on loan at Zwolle has had his contract extended by 3 years to 2029. He suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his 1st game forthem but is nearing full fitness so may still play this season.

With him and Alders ,also extended and injured whilst on loan ,Ajax clearly have faith in these 2 RB's and makes many fans wonder why Rosa was signed as he has made no impression so far.
