Didn't catch the game but a good win. A mixture of players ,6 from Young Ajax, some are over age U 18 without contracts and 2x 16 year olds Hato and Vink.

Ajax U-18 take on MTK Budapest in a single qualification match for the UEFA Youth League round of 16. Match will be in Hungary in early February.

EDIT: I made a big mistake on this one. It is actually the Romanian club, MTK Bucharest.

Watched the U 17 on Ajax youtube channel today . Lost 3-2 to AZ thanks to a clumsy late penalty. Nice article on Ajax showtime about the LCD Dies Janse , a very tall young lad who looks a good defender .The LB Jetten is only 15 and again a good player.
Faberski, the Polish lad ,played as right winger but is left footed looks a very good prospect.

The next 2 Saturdays our U18 are at home to PSV and Feyenoord so both should be shown on their tv channel.

I have no intention of watching any WC in such a dreadful country as Qatar.

I will watch this game and so far I have not watched any WC and dont plan to . Ajax play Blackburn tomorrow 11.00 CET in a friendly ,so I might catch some of it.

Everyone will now be watching Oranje but I just enjoyed our U18 stuffing Feyenoord 5-0 and it could have been 8 or 9 nil.

1-0 at Ht but Sky Vink went off to hospital ,leg injury,wish him well . In the 2nd half the subs improved things as Muzambo, the Belgium lad ,moved from the wing back to his proper no 10 position and Gorter at 8 ,far better than Chahid, improved MF.
Other subs Speksnijder a left footed right winger impressed me and Hamouchi at 9 with 2 goals showing there is some talent in the squad.

Hato aged 16 and 17 year olds Vos and Misehouy played for our 1st today so some talent coming through.

2 points from yesterday ,the F side were present maybe 300 or so chanting, singing, banging a drum and giving a good atmosphere although I am told they sang bomb Rotterdam ,which is sick.

Skye Vink broke his fibula so best wishes.At 16 ,he has played regularly for U18 this season and yet has no contract.
