you say this now but, how many times have we seen or said that statement and then gone on to buy them back for ridiculous amounts, or worse than that, cost us in the league etc.

After seeing Colombian defender Yerry Mina in their group games I cannot see de Ligt going to Barcelona. Mina has played behind Piquet and looks to be a more than able replacement. Now that AC Milan has been sanctioned by UEFA and banned from Europe for two years, it is more likely that Bonucci returns to Turin than de Ligt moves over there.

Reports that Roma are paying 35m for Ziyech .They have some sales to make first though.

Danilo Doekhi a Cd from Jong Ajax has joined Vitesse.Like Bergsma he was only going to play Jong again but has chosen a lesser Eredivisie side.Johnsen and de Wit ,both regulars in Jong last season could benefit by loans this season .Jong squad still has well over 25 with Owusu and El Azzouzi still here.


Back to the first, Barca seem to have given up trying to get Frenkie this summer. Juve want de Ligt but cannot see them spending 60m. Bayern buying some other Cd and Man City only want to sign him and loan him to us and thats a non starter.

If we lose to Sturm Graz de LIgt may well push for a move but remember England and Italy transfer period finish on 9th August.

Frenkie says he is probably staying but the stories come in everyday. If Barca does offer 50m I would take it ,Frenkie has talent but has not even played at MF other than as a stand in. Lots of hype about him and I cannot comprehend why Barca would be looking to pay 50m on a 21 year old who is not a starter for Ajax. 20m would be a big amount for him at present.

de Ligt already shows he is going to be a top player and we should ask 100m .

If Frenkie de Jong can't start the game against Sturm Graz, I'm hoping Blind starts in his position while Schuurs partners de Ligt at the back. I have to say I'm really concerned about the right back position, and the left wing.
