New Players for Ajax

According to danish newspaper Ajax are making a bid for FC Midjyllands Pione Sisto. He is a right/left wing and highly rated in Denmark.

I still don't understand why we're looking for wingers when we have Kishna, El Ghazi, Fisher, Schone, Muric & Cerny who can slot in.

We desperately need an LCB as Viergever is not that good and Riedewald is very young.

Dont hold your breath. Since Heitinga is returning, the idea is Veldman slots at LCB with Riedewald as back up. Ajax will focus on one more striker/winger and a goal keeper due to the imminent departure of Cillessen (Thank Gd). I recommend Sergio Padt from Groningen even though he may cost us, since he signed for them a year ago. But there are hardly any other options.

With Heitinga now signed todays news is that Newcastle want Veltman. Cannot see us letting him go and cannot see him wanting to go to an underperforming badly run club.

If Veltman were to go we have Heits ,v d Hoorn ,Viegever and Riedewald for our CD positions. Riedewald is a hugh talent with a future the other 3 are no better than standbys.

Given Heits lack of form for the last 3 years I too don't want him. Hope I am proved wrong

As for centre backs. I'm reasonably happy with Veltman, Van der Hoorn, Riedewald and Heitinga for those slots. Viergever will be a cover for the left back position most likely as there is not much room for him at LCB. Now that we have Gudelj, (and believe me FC Porto wanted him badly), along with SInkgraven and Klaassen, if that tandom midfield works, then we don't really need such a strong defense do we?

I'm a bit torn on the Heitinga return. If he can re-capture his form, I think he would be crucial in the title race. Old head, plenty of experience. But if he can't get any sort of decent form he will only serve as a hinderance to others progression.

I think it was always on the cards that he would return. After such an emotional departure, and his obvious love for the club he was always going to come back at some point. Someone else made a good point that his form might have been poor over the last few years, but thats not in our league.

Back to an above post Warner Hahn is now with Fword.He was at Dordrecht in 2013/14 but signed for Fword last summer and then went out on loan to Zwolle where he played very well. Cannot see him staying at fword with Vermeer but if Cillessen goes to Man u cannot see Fword letting Hahn come to us.

Warner Hahn plays for Feyenoord now doesnt he?

He's under contract there but was loaned out last season to PEC Zwolle where he was the starting keeper. He's also third choice behind Vermeer and Mulder at Feyenoord.

I've been reading about us buying another striker to partner Milik.

1) What is the status with Milik?

2) Who the hell is Sisto, is he a striker or winger and why does he cost 6 million???

3) If we sell Siggy and we've loaned Zivkovic out, why do we buy an inexperienced striker?

good questions , Milik is now signed to 2019 .

Sisto is a winger by the sounds of it but not sure why we need a winger unless Kishna leaves , and there is no rumour that he is going.

Last question ,no idea why we should buy an inexperienced striker.Thought we would get a guy about 30 for a couple of seasons whilst Milik is developing and Zivkovic hopefully develops at Willem .

I think Didier Drogba might be available though he probably wants more than we are willing to pay. I think he's got at least one good season left.

I really hope we do sign a good goal scoring threat though. I like Milik, but for me he just isnt that much of a threat.

I think Milik will turn into a more than decent forward and with a better supporting midfield he will score goals for Ajax.

Dont get me wrong, i like Milik, i think he will be good for us and he does look a threat. Just not to the extent i think we need. It was blatantly obvious for the past season, maybe two that we dont have a good enough midfield to provide a decent forward with enough opportunities for a good goal tally. Hopefully that will change this year, but i still think we need someone who can score off their own back, a-la-Huntelaar.

Well ManCity have parted ways with John Giudetti. He was a terror against us when he was on loan to Feyenoord. He's been hurt on and off and his other loan spells were not successful. However, he might be available on the cheap and he has shown he can score goals.

I think Giudetti is a good prospect, but again hes another one where if hes fit, hes good.. but he can be a bit unpredictable. Not sure if he would come to us, he probably has interest from elsewhere (i.e. germany, italy) but its a good shout if he is interested.

also i see van Ginkel is currently up for grabs on loan... Sunderland and Newcastle 'battling it out' for him. Obviously if he has prem teams after him he wont come, but if the conditions were right, id have him for 12 months.

im really dissapointed with the Kishna situation... I quite like him as a player and think he can add something to our team, but his personality (or more than likely his agent) stinks!

Just reading up about 21 year old Amin Younes a left winger and German U21 from Borussia Monchengladbach but played for Kaiserslauten in German 2nd div, last season. He is signing to 2018 plus an option to 2019. Just hope this guy does not turn into another Sana.

I would imagine he will understudy Fischer on the left wing and Kishna will leave. Muric and Cerny are both not yet ready and will play for Jong Ajax.

We are taking on a seasons loan 22 year old French striker Yaya Sanogo from Arsenal.Didnt score for them and last season was on loan at Crystal Palace for half a season and scored no goals.I am sure he will find the Dutch league alot easier to score in.

He will be 2nd striker to Milik and there is no clause to buy as Ajax want Zivkovic back.Zivkovic would be better
and having scored goals for Groningen aged 17 and a whole season for Jong has a better record but he will play as 1st striker at Willem whereas at Ajax he would be sitting on the bench as Milik's no 2.This is clearly seen as better for his development.

Unless Cillessen leaves wherby we need to buy a new goalie this will be the end of our buying.We will see how the new signings go
